El Mirage is an absolute gem in Brunswick! From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The owner, UD, truly goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a special experience. His kindness and friendliness create such a welcoming atmosphere, making it more than just a place to eat—it’s a place to feel valued and appreciated.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here, and UD made it even more memorable with a thoughtful surprise at the end—a special treat and a little candle, which was such a beautiful and unexpected gesture. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my day!

The food is absolutely delicious, with a fantastic breakfast and brunch menu that caters to all tastes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend visiting El Mirage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Thank you, UD and the team, for making my birthday morning so special—I’ll...

Today's Sunday brunch was in a family run cafe with a diverse menu and attentive service. On entry the barista was clearly busy but greeted us politely and asked us to wait. This is a very small thing but goes a long way to acknowledge our presence and showed simple courtesy - we appreciated that.

The Jalapeno Fritters was a delicious combination of charred corn and dried haloumi, salmon, coriander and lime labne. The different textures in each mouthful were complemented by the harmonious flavours of each ingredient. My friend also enjoyed his Gringo - poached eggs with Mex beans, bacon, mushrooms, hash potato and smashed avocado.

The waitress went to a lot of trouble to check that my dish didn't have uncooked onions (The Thing I don't eat). The Tumeric Latte is really worth checking out - tasty with soy milk and honey and the dehydrated beetroot dusting adds to the presentation.

Good food, great service, a place worth...

Travelled from Sydney with a group of 20-plus boys. As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by warm lighting and an inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The decor blends rustic elements with modern touches, creating a relaxed atmosphere ideal for both solo visits and small gatherings. The taste is consistently delightful, with fresh ingredients that make every bite memorable. The presentation is particularly noteworthy—dishes are artfully arranged, turning each plate into a visual treat. Service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Prices are reasonable, considering the quality of both the food and the ambience. Overall, The Cozy Corner is a must-visit. We did dine here for your 2nd day brunch as well and I’ll definitely be returning back again. Corn fritters, chicken bao and buratta bruscetta was awesome unfortunately I didn't take the pictures from my...

📍@elmiragecafe, Brunswick East El Mirage in Brunswick East is a super cute cafe serving coffee, juices and brunch. The vibe here is chill and the plates are colourful 😋 We ordered a couple of their specials including the pumpkin delight and the open lamb souvlaki. Every bite hit that sweet spot between comfort and creativity 👌🏻 It’s the kind of place you come for brunch and end up staying way longer than planned. Definitely a new fave in the area 😍 What we ordered: 🌯 Open Lamb Souvlaki $25 Slow-cooked spring lamb, Greek salad, tzatziki. On warm pita bread, served with fries. 🎃 Pumpkin Delight $24 Charred sweet pumpkin, avocado, halloumi, balsamic glaze, crispy sweet potatoes, egg and sourdough. 🍍 Pineapple Detox $12 Pineapple, apple, celery, lemon and ginger. 🥭 Mango Lassie Smoothie $10
