My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Fattie Prince this evening, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Having moved to Australia from Iran two years ago, we were thrilled to find a place that brought back the authentic taste of home.

Fattie Prince is a family-owned Middle Eastern restaurant specializing in Persian cuisine. The establishment is run by the incredibly kind and respectful Ali, along with his wonderful wife and daughter. Their passion for cooking and hospitality shines through in every aspect of the restaurant.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The decor is charming and reminiscent of traditional Persian aesthetics, creating an inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the food. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the standout was undoubtedly the kebab. It was hands down the best kebab we've had since leaving Iran. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, capturing the essence of Persian grilling techniques. Every bite was a nostalgic journey back to our homeland.

The menu at Fattie Prince is extensive, offering a wide range of traditional Persian dishes. We also tried the saffron rice, which was fluffy and aromatic, and the freshly baked bread, which was warm and soft. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs.

In addition to the exquisite food, the service was impeccable. Ali and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our meal. Their hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to the evening.

Fattie Prince also offers catering services, which we are excited to try for our next family gathering. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in everything they do.

Overall, Fattie Prince is a hidden gem in Melbourne that deserves to be celebrated. Whether you're looking for a taste of Persia or simply want to enjoy a delicious meal in a welcoming environment, this restaurant is the place to be. We left with full hearts and satisfied appetites, already planning our next visit.

Thank you, Ali and family, for bringing a piece of Iran to Melbourne. We can't wait to come back and indulge in your amazing...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fattie Prince in Melbourne City with my whole family. Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant is easily accessible and a great option for anyone in the area looking for delicious Persian cuisine.

As a starter, we had Sambusa, which was served in a really nice way on a plate with delicious yogurt – a perfect beginning to our dinner. The crispiness of the Sambusa combined with the tangy yogurt made for an exceptional starter.

For our main course, we ordered two mixed platters, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The platters included four types of meat: Koobideh kebab, Joojeh kebab, Barg kebab, and lamb cutlets. Each type of meat was cooked to perfection, with the Joojeh kebab being tender and juicy, the Koobideh kebab flavorful and well-seasoned, and the Barg kebab incredibly succulent. The lamb cutlets were also delightful, adding a nice variety to the platter. The mixed kebabs were served with Persian rice, house sumac onion, grilled tomato, and lemon, which complemented the meats beautifully.

The customer service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The staff was attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

For dessert, we had tea and pistachio baklava, both of which were delightful. The tea was aromatic and the perfect complement to the sweet and nutty baklava. The pistachio baklava was rich and flavorful, providing a sweet end to our meal.

Overall, our experience at Fattie Prince was wonderful. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a convenient location in Melbourne City makes this restaurant a must-visit. We highly recommend Fattie Prince to anyone looking for great Persian food in Melbourne. Whether you're a local or just visiting the city, don't miss out...

I've always walked across this place so finally decided to give it a try. I wished I had done that sooner. This middle-eastern restaurant is a gem in CBD, I kid you not. This simple-looking restaurant has a veritable menu that has a mix of Persian cuisine and some others with a western twist.

🍚🍗

One day for lunch, I ordered the Turks Mixed Kebabs ($15.95), a combination of Sliced Lamb Doner Kebab and Sliced Chicken Doner Kebab, Lettuce, House Sumac Onion, Tomato, and Garlic Galore Sauce and wrapped with Turks Pide Bread. The flavours were spot-on. It was scrumptious, fulfilling and delicious. Special mention to the bread, which was delightful!

On another day, I and my friend ordered the Mixed Grill Plate ($26.95), on his suggestion, and being the first time for me, I was eagerly waiting for my plate to arrive, whose description was - One skewer of Koobideh Kebab and one skewer of Joojeh Kebab. Served with Persian rice, house sumac onion, grilled tomato, lemon, and garnished with saffron. Just the description had me salivating in anticipation.

When the foid finally arrived on our table, it was visually gorgeous. The plating was immaculate and clean, and the fragrance from the fluffy rice, chicken and lamb was mesmerising. A little bitter was provided on the side to go with the kebabs, and the kebabs were absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy, the lamb rich and deep. The veggies on the side were great as well. Everything went well with the rice. It was overall a great dish.

🇮🇷😋

Friendly staff, clean place and cozy decor, this is a good place for Middle Eastern cuisines. The restaurant has a touch of old age feel to it that adds to its cosiness. I most definitely...
