Nestled in the heart of the city, this vegan pub is an absolute treasure for anyone eager to indulge in delicious plant-based cuisine. From the very first bite, I realized I had discovered a culinary paradise—one that could effortlessly win over even the most devoted meat lovers. Every dish was not only bursting with flavor but also crafted with meticulous attention to detail, making each bite a delight. The warm and welcoming service only enhanced the experience, creating a cozy atmosphere where I felt completely at ease. The ambiance struck the perfect balance—lively enough to be engaging yet ideal for meaningful conversations. The chefs' creativity was evident in every dish, seamlessly blending flavors and aesthetics. The generous portions and beautiful presentation made dining here a true pleasure. From the smoky tofu that amazed my taste buds to the eggplant schnitzel, chorizo burger, and Caesar salad that my friends couldn't stop raving about, every item on the menu showcased exceptional quality and innovation. The availability of a fully vegan menu, along with allium-free options, makes this place stand out as a true haven for mindful eaters. One dish I couldn't resist was the fried cauliflower—it was simply outstanding, leaving me craving more. While the open windows let in a bit of city traffic fumes, the excellence of the food and service far outweighed this minor inconvenience. In the end, my visit to this vegan pub was an unforgettable experience. I left feeling completely satisfied, with a happy heart and a new favorite spot to return to. If you're searching for an exceptional culinary experience with a vegan twist, this place is an absolute must-visit! Alex from Perth

Came here for dinner and got the feed me menu. Would strongly recommend the drinks and calamari, but that’s about it! What an absolute disappointment- we finished two items during our 3 hour meal; the bread and sticky date The cocktails we started with were AMAZING! So delicious and refreshing, would’ve ordered multiple of these without hesitation! For $59pp we excepted some good food- our entree of olives, pickled veggies, bread and hummus was average at best- but we kept our hopes up. The caeser salad was just fine, the Tofu Larb was incredibly tasteless and dry. The king oyster calamari was a surprising hit after many disappointments! However the house roast lentil loaf didn’t taste good and had a bland texture on the inside- good crisp on the outside and nice gravy really couldn’t save it sadly. Finally after so much disappointment with the savoury food, we were really looking forward to a dessert since the sweet cocktail was so good! And the sticky date was good- the single piece we got to share between 3 people that is. This really capped off the disappointment at having the tastiest thing on the menu be the smallest serve :(

Summary: 4.2. Very good restaurant. Superior veggie menu. Good drink options. Nice space. Great service. Good pricing. Review: Friends took us here. We were glad they did. It’s a good operation. Great vegetarian food which is composed and presented with confident but understated class and style. The feed me menu is good. Quantity and quality is just right. Great selection of dips, salads and roasted vegetables. All dishes good. Lovely hummus. Good pita. Terrific crusty bread. Very nicely cooked roasted carrots and pumpkin. Thoughtfully served and good robust flavours. Nice dessert as well. The eating area is small but well laid out. Notably, they really know how to serve a table of four. There’s plenty of food and it’s cleverly and classily served so there’s plenty for everyone. You’re neither rushed nor waiting too long for the next dish. The rose we chose went well with the food. Very impressive service throughout. Calm, pleasant and professional. Top class. Cost was very reasonable for the quality and quantity. This is a well run and enjoyable restaurant. Recommended.

Was really keen for this one, and think it would be okay if you don't get the "feed me" option. This included the vegan grazing board, greens, tomato carpaccio, tofu larb, and linguine. The food was okay but nothing blew us out of the water - especially when the first two courses were essentially just raw vegetables. The only dish with any real carbs was the linguine - all in all, we left feeling rather hungry. I also think the seasonal menu is not so seasonal - the tomatoes in the carpaccio were bland as it's now a bit late in the year to expect much flavour. No other dishes really celebrated the produce currently in season, which really is such a shame for a vegetarian restaurant. The grazing board was essentially hummus, vegetables, and a rather pitiful amount of bread - a real missed opportunity to showcase produce here.

Between the two of us at $50/pp the total amount value was about $51/pp - usually feed me menus are intended to be better value than ordering straight from the menu, so only a dollar of "extra" value surprised me.

The service was also just OK - at times we were sent our next course before we had finished the other. Later, we were sent the small plate of seasonal greens as an entire course rather than an accompaniment. We also didn't have anyone check in to see how our food was and often found ourselves out of water - the staff did seem nice enough, perhaps just spread too thin.

I had booked this place as a surprise night out for my partner so it really was a shame it didn't hold up. We are vegetarian and would love to have a good option for a night out, unfortunately this just missed the mark. Hopefully this review helps others thinking of doing the feed me menu - I think there are talented chefs here, the menu just needs a re-boot, and hopefully ordering differently will still make sure you have...

Walked in today for a booking and was approached by the server who seated us quickly and was quick to get us a drinks. He was also friendly when taking our order. Unfortunately that's the only good things left to say. The server approached the Chef with our order and the behaviour from the chef was absolutely abhorrent. We could hear from our table the chef speaking horribly about us to the server. If you don't want people to make alterations to the menu say it upfront. Even saying that statement is funny because it's written all over the menu and website that they can cater for all food requirements. I don't like pickle and BBQ sauce so I asked for it to be removed. The server even made suggestions about adding other things to the order. A simple request and the behaviour was completely unwarranted.

We got up and left after this display and on the way out the server knew exactly why before we even had a chance to tell him. So I imagine it's not the first time the chef has been this unprofessional.

All in all it was a terrible experience and I'll be quick to tell anyone that the place sucks and I wouldn't bother.

The only good thing to come from a ruined birthday experience was driving 5 minutes down the road to Red Sparrow who had exceptional service, incredible food and an overall fabulous restaurant. To anyone reading this, If you're looking for somewhere awesome to eat, I'd recommend giving this place a miss and head down the road to Red Sparrow where they don't treat people like absolute...
