What a great place to stop and visit. You can start with some chocolate samples followed by a tour of the premises. The tour guide provides great information on how the history of the establishment, how the chocolates are made, and explains the various processes used to make the vast array of chocolates they produce. The tour ends at the storefront where everything that is made in the factory is sold. It was interesting that when we visited at the end of October they were producing the Christmas items and would be transitioning into preparing Valentine chocolates immediately after. Haighs is our family's fave chocolate and we've been to all stores in Australia and have done the chocolate tour in Adelaide a few times. Haighs is always a part of any special occasion - Christmas, Easter, birthdays, anniversaries, etc & also as presents to friends from overseas to welcome them to Australia. Even in covid lockdowns, Haighs was there (thanks to online shopping). 😊

It is quite pricey but the chocolate is great. The service is equal to the chocolate quality. The staff immediately came over to us when we entered the shop and offered dark peppermint chocolate for us to try. They also offered their help when we were taking a look at some chocolates and asked us to approach them if we were confused due to the additional Christmas chocolates.
