Great food, service could be better.
I've been here a few times to see how it is and I can say the food is excellent. It is probably my favourite place in Footscray for Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pancake) - it is creamy, crunchy, large & tasty. The pho is surprisingly great, as is the banh cuon. Bun Cha is okay, but there are better places near by. Banh Canh Cua is good if you like that.
However, the service could be a bit better. Especially at dinner time, you can tell they are overwhelmed by the guests and they are stressed. They have missed a few items we ordered, some came quite late, and sometimes when we wanted service for water or paying the bill, it took quite some time.
The decore of the place is also quite dark and a little old. If you can put up with the 2 negatives, the food is excellent. Would recommend.
EDIT: After going here a few more times, the food here is so good that it's worth the average service. They are nice, but just slow. Upgraded the score to a 5 just for the food alone. Get the Banh Xeo...

The pho was quite good, as it should be, and I couldn’t really find any faults with it. It’s definitely worth trying out—perhaps you’ll prefer it over the other spots. Personally, I feel it tastes just as good as the main locations, but I always find myself returning to my favorite, well-established spots after visiting these more laid-back places. The bún bò huế (BBH) was a nice change from the usual pho, and I appreciated that they used authentic BBH noodles. In contrast, the places on the main street use the same noodles as for their pho, which doesn't taste...
