I've always enjoyed my many visits to Humbaba! The staff are particularly friendly and helpful, especially the owners, Annie & Jon, who always welcome me with a big smile😜. My coffee order (which I change constantly) is always exactly as requested. Humbaba is very flexible with food & drink orders, and on a recent very hot day, they made me my very own iced-coffee recipe (I love MORE ice-cream, less ICE)❤️. The on-site cook (Warney) makes the best sausage rolls in Australia, and believe me, I've travelled Australia. His porridge (oats) are delicious too. My regular lunch "go-to" is the veggie Zataar. To me, Humbaba is a treasure in our neighbourhood❤️

If you’re a vegetarian/vegan, you’ll love their veggie zaatar and vegetarian roti wrap! Non vegetarian- I got your back, their pesto chicken panini is incredible, so yummy- immediately became my go-to order for breakfast! 😋😋 Really nice and comfy ambience with power points at a few seats– good spot for doing work/study as well. Their iced chai latte is the best I’ve ever had in Melbourne (didn’t get to take a photo but few of my friends approved too!) Staff were all super friendly and welcoming, will definitely be back soon to try out different menus!

Came there on a Friday morning for a coffee and breakfast, got a fantastic coffee and ended up getting the eggs Benedikt, eggs were done perfectly with nice crispy toast and delicious fresh toppings with. If you have the opportunity have a chat with the owner Annie, she often hangs around the shop and is absolutely lovely to have a chat with. Will definitely be coming here again next time I'm around the area

coming down to Humbaba more often then anticipated they provide a friendly reasonable service depending on what your getting, one criticism i have is i mainly order a toastie either panini or white bread everything is fine they are generous with the meat and fillings which a lot of place aren't end bonus with the sauces at no extra cost, however my first break we get 15 mins by time its ready we have to run back to our meetings but i i find annoying on most occasions the cheese isn't melted and the chicken is luke warm. on some occasions when i can be bothered ill have to toast it again with very little time to. other then that there pretty on point with a clean restaurant with lots of selection, great tasting food with a range of options and friendly staff, definitely see myself coming...

I’ve given this café more than a few chances, but every time I go, they manage to get my order wrong. Whether it’s the wrong coffee, missing food items, or things coming out cold, it’s become a pattern rather than a one-off mistake.

The ordering and payment process is honestly one of the worst I’ve seen — confusing, slow, and completely disorganised. watching staff try to sort through a system that clearly doesn’t work.

It’s a shame, because the place itself could be good if they fixed the basics. But until they sort out their processes and pay a bit more attention to accuracy, it’s just not worth the...
