Terrible experience, rude staff! I went there 01/10 to enjoy the night and the comedy show but the staff ruined the night! The bartender with a pony tail was rude since the beginning. He was drinking at the bar when we went to order and seems very annoying by us, when he brought the drink to the table he said “oh I forgot about it” We wait for more than half hour for the food, even the bar wasn’t full. Unfortunately my friend drop a side plate at the floor, and the broken glass was everything under the table Even the bartender saw, nobody came to help After a few tries to get some help, it was told that they would clean when we leave, even we barley couldn’t move the foot afraid to get hurt Even other table near by saw and asked about and we hear he say thinks like, oh we clean later, don’t worry, we are waiting them to leave We want to stay longer, we are waiting for the comedy show started so after finished eat, we ask again The bartender came to clean very angry, make comments such as “my poor plate” “how was it broken in so many pieces” he sweeps very noise and angry After he finished he even treaty kick us out the bar, for no apparent reason We call the manager by apparently he was the supervisor of the night We decided to leave after this horrible treatment and when we are walking out the door he was say to the next table “who wants more drama” I never ever had such a terrible experience in a place before! I felt uncomfortable all the time. He doesn’t know how to do customer attendance, treat a human being and the worse is how someone like this can be a supervisor! It was a simple situation that became...

A Pokey cafe in a dumpy part of St Kilda. Clearly more about fashion than serving quality meals.

I had Eggs Benedict which could have been nice if the cook understood the concepts of proportion and flavor.

Eggs were cooked until almost hard. :-/

Ham was the saltiest I have tasted in a very very long while, so salty I could not distinguish salty from the othe flavors on the plate, including the flavorless Hollandaise sauce (which looked like it was home made at least). I think the ham was very cheap.

Nearly broke my teeth on the cold toast.

To summarise, it was $17 of salty mush on rock toast.

I would like to see the cook taste his own meal to see if it's um "to his pallate".

The waiter ironically did not enquire as to if we enjoyed our meals.

Bizarre seating arrangement.

I admit it was fun watching the Gorillaz walking by outside, wearing their only set of clothes which, much like them appeared to not have been washed in many weeks. If you are in the area, steer clear of anyone draping a blanket across one shoulder, it's not a fashion trend, it's a way of life.

Good coffee, expedient service (Tho you can get good coffee across the road at the 711 for $1)

Working out what tables went with what chairs and which area was a "general storage area" at front of house was uhh interesting.

Staff were attentive. Good music. Iddy Biddy Flavor, too many dirty vagrants in...

The bartender was a man with a red shirt and a ponytail, and he embodied everything you’d expect from terrible service. From the moment we walked in, his attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. He seemed more interested in drinking at the bar than actually doing his job. When we ordered drinks, it was like we were inconveniencing him.

The entire experience was a disaster, made worse by his blatant disrespect. When I accidentally dropped a plate, he ignored us for a long time, leaving broken glass scattered under our table, which was dangerous. When he finally came to clean, he didn’t offer any help, didn’t apologize, and instead made sarcastic comments like, “my poor plate,” and angrily swept up the mess while glaring at us. His behavior was so rude that he even threatened to kick us out just for asking for assistance.

To top it off, this man had the audacity to gossip about us with other customers, saying, “who wants more drama?” as we left. This wasn’t just bad service; it was an appalling, humiliating, and unsafe experience. Never in my life have I encountered someone so unprofessional and disrespectful in the...

Came here after a long day of work at the set up for the Aus open and were excited to see what the $20 main meals were all about. Firstly they need to update their website as it's advertised as $20 selected mains but when we got there they have increased the price to $22. My partner ordered the steak and I ordered the salmon. The steak came out first and the staff member said the salmon was going to be a few minutes. My partner had well and truely finished his meal before mine came out. When it arrived we just got a sorry for the delay which is all well and good but on a table of two, having one person completely finish their meal before the other even gets theirs is a bit of a no no in hospitality. Pretty disappointed that we didn't receive an update on the meal from any of the staff. The salmon was really nice however. As was the steak, though it was over cooked. And if we'd know how long my main was going to be, we would have mentioned that the steak was overdone and potentially would have had the opportunity to eat together.

An old St Kilda favourite back in the game..... Last year after a couple of failed food experiences we were asked by a few friends to give her another shot, with promises of great food and cold beer we did. After arriving and going to the bar it just felt better, much better. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was great, towing a cheeky 4 year old to the event everything felt safe. And the star of the show the food, I went for the pasta, with a little hesitation I felt the steak should be round 2. The carbonara was fresh, hot, creamy, I'd say the Italians would pass this with flying colours, the wife went with the chicken burger, again fresh, and with a cheeky black bun it felt posh, the nachos were consumed by the rest of the party, again no complaints at all. Pricing was more than reasonable as mains came with a decent discount. Again nice work and glad we came.

Originally supposed to go to another restaurant, but, glad we stopped here instead. Very chilled out vibe and good atmosphere for a beer. As this is a pub scene, it’s not really somewhere you’d go for a wine or cocktail. Good selection of pub type food on the menu. Sliders were fairly tasty, definitely recommend the shredded pork over the beef. Also impressed that there was a decent amount of salmon that came with the salad. Hot wings are hot, although they aren’t american ‘frank’ sauce flavours if thats what youre after. Still quite tasty though. Would be better if they were also served with a blue cheese or ranch sauce. Staff are friendly and prompt with service. The only thing I really disliked were that people could smoke right next to the outdoor dinning tables because they were ‘technically’ outside the service area.
