If you’re on the hunt for Thai food in Footscray that serves curry as a soup, then this spot might catch your eye. I was excited to try it, especially since it boasts a 4-star rating. But maybe I ordered the wrong dishes because, wow, what a disappointment! The red duck curry? Sauce was as runny as water, with barely any flavor, and I only got three tiny slices of duck. Was this a main or an appetizer? The beef massaman? Tasted okay, but it came with just three cubes of beef surrounded by a small farm of potatoes and carrots. The pad see ew? It was… fine. Nothing special—didn’t see fireworks or angels, just noodles. The mango sticky rice looks good in the photo but lacks the coconut flavour and dry. Now, my friends devoured their pork/mong ping and said it was “okay,” but that’s the highest praise you’ll get here, The only saving grace For that alone, is what they ordered. But would I come back? Absolutely not.

Went there on my birthday 2 people Informed waitress who was very welcoming advised No Capsicum in our food due to allergies Ordered hot pot- meat quality was average and fatty. Beef extremely chewy They she place a pad thai seafood on our table which we didn’t ordered They took seafood pad thai and brought our pad thai vege with capsicum- menu didn’t advertise Pad Thai with capsicum I felt a sharp pain in my gum, a plastic 2cm was extracted from my mouth and i bled a bit Notify waitress, she was unapologetic, this situation made us uncomfortable, Pad thai price was removed from our bill Waste of time and money- no safety checks for safe food. This sharp plastic if swallowed could have caused some serious harm internally

I have a love and hate relationship with this restaurant. I always nearly order the papaya tray as it has all you need; excluding rice, to have a good meal. I have eaten here on multiple occasions and have realised that the food standards can vary in quality depending on who cooks. My last outing before the recent visit was a disappointment. The papaya was flavourless and quite bland if I'm being honest. However the most recent visit, the papaya salad was good and satisfying. It's this unsteady food quality that makes it hard for me. There are restaurants in the city who do better food and at a tiny cheaper price point, but that's add like an extra 30 minute travel time. Sometimes I just want to eat local and save time.

I have been to this eatery for a long time, and had often recommended to family and friends. But recently, both quality of food and service has declined. Today I ordered dessert, and being wet and cold outside, we asked for 2 glasses of hot water (one to accompany my dessert as I don't drink tea nor coffee, and one to help soften the rather salty soup). We were refused hot water, something we thought would be a simple request. After a second request, this time just for the soup, the waitress clearly begrudgingly brought out a small bowl of water, with traces of oil on the surface. When paying our bill, we asked if there is a cost for hot water, explaining that we would've willingly paid, the waitresses at the till said it would've costed us $3.....for a glass of hot water. They further explained that Thai people don't drink hot water, and it was an unusual request. Unusual I understand, but too difficult I don't except. Time to...

I've been there several times, the food is very good, which is really what has made me come back however every time the person at the cashier (who is also the waitress) looks upset, and well it makes you feel a uncomfortable I understand that someone may not be having their best day sometimes but it’s not a excuse to be rude with the costumers, yesterday I think it made me rethink about consuming there again, we ordered a pad Thai, a fried rice and some drinks, but she practically had an expression of boredom when we did it 🙄 also when he left us the drinks on the table she did it abruptly, I asked her for chilli flakes and I got the same expression, at the time of payment she didn't even speak to us, I think the service can...
