Appalling service at Highpoint. Ordered iced chai (amongst other orders for four). It arrived in a very narrow parfait glass full to top with ice so essentially only room for 3-4 mouthfuls of the actual chai liquid. Took me 20 seconds to drink it all from straw. For over $6. Gave them feedback and they couldn’t understand English. Asked for manager. A Lady came out and said I shouldn’t have drunk it and should have asked for no ice and asked me if I wanted to buy another without ice! How would I know it was all ice until I start drinking it? Took three of us to try to explain that if I’d know it would come out like that I wouldn’t have ordered it. It was ridiculous. Eventually she said she’d do another without ice for me. Not only did the second one come with ice, (not as much I admit), but I discovered when I went to drink it that it was not even an iced chai but an iced coffee. I can’t drink coffee. Absolutely Useless and they could not have cared less. Far too many better choices for any of us to bother ever going back again. Don’t order the Iced Chai or Iced...

This review is based on the perspective of a retail customer rather than food and beverage customer. The service at Jasper Highpoint is consistently the absolute pits. We buy whole beans and occasionally want to ask questions about the origin, style or select beans that are not prepacked from behind the counter. Talk about asking for too much. Usually service is from flat, bland, "too busy" people more interested in $5 take away coffee orders than $75 whole coffee bean orders, but today was next level rudeness that prompted a review. The store clearly benefits from its location in the centre, because it has absolutely nothing else going for it. Not to mention, that if, as full time M-F workers, we make the mistake of buying our beans on a Sunday when most convenient, we get hit with a 10-15% service charge, for zero % customer service. Do yourself a favour and buy your beans elsewhere. Your self respect will thank you for it, given the utter garbage disrespect served up by this store time...

Staff: 1/10 (They have a severe lack of respect for customers, they seemed to be rushing to take orders, they talk down to the customers as though they are better than them.)

Food: 1/10 (I ordered a brownie which was served for no obvious reason with an orange slice and a strawberry. The brownie itself was dry and tasted stale, so, I left most of it. Perhaps that was why they put the fruit on the plate, in order to distract me from the foul taste.)

Drinks: 3/10 (The English breakfast tea was okay at best, however, it tasted weak as if they’d not put enough tea leaves into the pot.)

I understand that it was Black Friday and the shopping centre was very busy, but, other cafes that I have visited at shopping centres on other busy periods have always kept up a great level of customer service and never served me stale food.

This was my first time at this café and I’ll never be...

Was regular at Jasper and the tea price started to climb now to $4.95 (now $6.00) which is ridiculous won't be coming here again. Two visits recently and the tea has been lukewarm, it does not draw properly if the water isn't hot enough, add the milk & it is dead cold, ordered a pot of hot water to hopefully save the day but that still wasn't hot enough either, the tea tastes like a dishwasher. The eggs have gone up in price from $11 to $14 (with only one piece of bread for 2 eggs & no dressing on the leaves) then add a weekend surcharge plus another surcharge if you use a card. Update: revisit and the tea is still cold, sent it back and it came back the same except with hot milk, big no no for a tea drinker, how can a beverage broker get it so wrong. They can get the coffee extra hot. You have to brew black tea & let it draw, can't do that with cold water.

I've always seen loads of people lining up for jasper coffee, always busy in their table areas and business appears Booming. They have a wide range of sweets, lunch items and range of bespoke coffee customers can order. I love my coffee and acquainted with the varieties there are offered. I tried the house blend, came very strong in a medium. Felt like a strong 2 shots. Quite bitter, and not to my taste - personally I prefer Tommy Jax coffee outside of Bonds and the banks area. I tried their sweets, quite nice and not too sweet. Overall would recommend this place as a great hang out with friends if you want to chill to have a chat or a light lunch but it's always busy and hard to get seating.

Jasper has nice coffee beans however coffees from this shop have been quite inconsistent which is disappointing. Been here a few times on the weekends, coffee from last Sunday in particular was very good. Medium FW with 2 shots, first sip was full of flavour, right temperature. The one from today was super milky, no coffee taste, didn’t finish it. Coffee spilled around the takeaway cup, sticked all over the hand. Bought a matcha latte, also had coffee spilled, like they transferred coffee shots around hence my weak coffee and reused the cup that had coffee for the matcha. Paid $5.50 for a cup of warm milk with a few drops of coffee. Just disappointing.
