There are many Ethiopian restaurants in the area, but I found that this one served the most meat. We ordered the Mixed Platter served on a tray of injera. It comes with Beetroot stew, cabbage stew, red lentils in berbere, green lentils or yellow split peas in turmeric, spicy lamb stew, mild lamb stew, kitfo, beef tibs, and doro wot. When the food arrives, you can't help but dig in and start tasting the different flavors of meat and lentils. Everything about the platter was delicious! Some of the meat was a bit spicy but not hot. It costs $25 per person and varies based on availability and season. One platter feeds two people, so come here hungry! They serve complimentary Ethiopian tea. P.S. Alcohol is not served here.

We’ve never had Ethiopian cuisine before, so we ordered the mixed platter for 4 of us. It was a fantastic experience, we loved all 8 dishes. One of the dishes had some little bones so we had to be careful to eat, but apart from that, all of them were nice and soft. Also the traditional Ethiopian coffee was very nice. The staff were very friendly and lovely. I liked how they decorated inside of the restaurant too. We definitely recommend this place, and looking forward to coming back.

Totally awesome food and experience. Make sure you try the traditional coffee which is brewed in a traditional pot. The meals comes in bowls and then tip onto the injera (pancake like, sourdough bread) which you eat. We had a range of vegetable based dishes which were all delicious. The spice level is mild. There are also meat based dishes. Very reasonably priced, $80 for 4 meals and injera, 4 coffees and 4 teas (we had spiced tea and ginger tea). Highly recommended.

Konjo was recommended to us by friends who had been prior. We had a table for 10 booked for the Saturday buffet (just $15 pp) and were well accommodated. The food is absolutely delicious and we easily had 2 plates each, with the exception of some who had 3!! The sour-like pancake roll and the tea they serve is addictive! Lovely to visit if you’re looking for a casual dining venue with quality food. The owner is a lovely, soft-spoken man - and he has a display of various African-inspired trinkets and jewellery for sale. A must try! PS - would love to try or have a dessert included as part of the buffet!...
