Khartoum City Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Me and my mum went there for a coffee which the owner made and it was delicious so we decided hey we loved the coffee so lets try the food. Thats where things went a bit off. Context we were sitting under an aircon the whole time this a standard aircon. So we order the tilapia and rice . So when we got our food it was cold. Literally cold rice and cold fish so instantly not even a min over i went and asked the owner if he could reheat it up as the food was cold. The owners emotional rebutal was that its cold because we were sitting underneath the aircon not sure how thats even possible for an aircon to cool down a meal thats come within seconds and it must be a very selective aircon because we sat and had coffee at the same spot and our coffee was just fine. The owner heated the food , came back again with an attitude to argue and blame the aircon. A simple apologie would have sufficed rather than an illogical argument or maybe perhaps even the owner himself taste a bit of the rice he served beforehand. Food is delicous and there cofee is very tasty as well. I guess depending on the aircon based on the owners logic your food might turn out cold or hot. One food may be hot like is and one food may be cold. Service from the owner is subpar. Forks and knives could use a bit of polishing or a wipe but id definitely give this place anothee chance as mentioned food is very flavoursome. Maybe not sut...
