Went there last week with my daughters. They ordered a kids ham and cheese toast each - advertised for $7.50 but they charged full price AND added on the ham for an additional $4 EACH! I paid without looking at the bill, and when they gave me the receipt, I realised the total price didn't look right as I had already estimated the price prior to paying. I immediately told the cashier about it, and they tried saying things like "oh I am not responsible for menu and menu prices" I said that we ordered the KIDS toasties that was only ham and cheese & it was meant to be $7.50, not the regular toastie PLUS adding on ham for $4 times two! I made this very clear to the waiter, as I am Deaf, so I was naturally pointing to the specific item on the menu (that was on a different section from the regular toastie section, being the KIDS section of the menu), so there is no excuse for error. The cashier wanted me out of the way, because it was quite busy, so he just grabbed some coins out of the till and shoved it to me with a half hearted apology. It was more of the principle of getting my order correct - I was paying more than double the expected price. It wasn't a small amount.

On a positive note, the food was nice, drinks nice. The waiter who delivered our food/drinks was very nice, smiling and asking if everything was good. We were extremely happy with our experience, it was only the part of being overcharged that soured our experience.

I would advise, in future, to please check your bills/receipts before paying to ensure that the correct items have been added onto it. I also would advise to the establishment, to also ensure that you have correct items written down/added to the POS when you are putting orders in to avoid this...

Was shopping at Chadstone to kill time while my dog was having surgery, less than a week before Christmas, was I crazy. The first time I walked past mid morning they were full, after wa during through the centre, it was 12 noon and some empty tables so decided to get a meal. The service was amazing, the waitress was very quick and even after I asked for a few extra minutes, she returned literally 2 mins later and didn't forger about me. I ordered the smashed avo with bacon and an iced coffee. Food came out in good time, no long wait despite the place being quite full. And I have to say it was absolutely delicious! I'm now on a mission trying all cafes near where I live and so far none come even close in flavour let alone value for money. The added serving of bacon was massive, while many other places give one tiny strip. Truly hoping I can find something remotely similar bear home, otherwise I just may have to take a drive to Chaddy once a month. I have just read some other reviews about poor service. I can only.speak for my own visit and my waitress...

Sunday afternoon barista (female, Asian) brutal! Asked what kind of chai lattes they made (powder, syrup or loose leaf), to which she suggested powder but had loose leaf. I asked for a loose leaf chai latte and the “barista” said yeah but it’s goinf to take like 5 minutes to be ready, to which I replied was okay and she seemed seriously disturbed by this. She then prepared the chai latte and when I got it I took a sip right away as I was suspicious as to how it would be and she left all of the loose leaf in the takeaway cup! I took it back and said it needed to be strained and she told me it would no longer be chai latte if that was taken out.... no extra comments needed I think on the knowledge of her barista skills. Also when the drink was ready she just slammed a bell and left it to sit on the counter, I came around to grab it and she didn’t even make eye contact or say chai latte, I had to point and ask if it were mine and she rudely responded yes like I should have known better (there were others waiting around for drinks).
