The pizza at this store was very delicious, and they also have a discount event on Wednesdays. Whenever I have time, I come here after work on Wednesday evenings to enjoy some food time alone. The current promotion is '2-for-1', which means buy one, get one free. But today, I was told that because I came alone, I couldn't enjoy the discount. Yes, just because I came ALONE, that's what the staff told me. Even though I always come alone, and even though I’ve always been able to enjoy the promotion, this time, I was told I couldn’t. I don't know if it's because of my rac? appearance? or something else that made the staff unhappy. The staff told me, 'That’s just the rule,' but I didn’t see anything on any promotional material stating that 'this promotion is only for two or more people.' In fact, the last time I came alone, I was still able to participate in the discount. In any case, I won’t be coming back. This place used to be my source of joy, but I’ll never come again. I paid for two pizzas because I really want to enjoy two, but I’ll never come back again.

Ollie’s Pizza Parlour does 2 for 1 pizzas every Wednesday and it’s such a great midweek deal! The pizza style id say is a mix between New York style/ Neapolitan It’s a super chill, walk-in spot where you order at the counter. Here’s what we tried: 🍍 Tropic: tomato, mozzarella, leg ham, pickled pineapple and jalapeño. Loved the hit of jalapeño on this one! I’d have preferred shaved ham over cubed, but it still worked. Definitely my favourite of the night. 🍕 Pepperoni: tomato, fior di latte, pepperoni, hot honey and salted ricotta. A nice kick of spice and great crust, though a little soggy in the centre from the generous toppings. There was a small mix-up with our order but the team sorted it quickly with fresh pizzas which we really appreciated. We had loads of leftovers too. I’d go back for their Wednesday deal as it’s such great value! 3.8/5

Gluten free pizza review only. My partner is a coeliac so we always get gluten freee food so as we can still share. Very difficult to find a really good gluten free base but Ollie’s is not the answer if your seeking a good gluten free pizza base. The atmosphere is cool tho and we enjoyed playing an arcade street fighter game they have in the corner. $98 for 2 gluten free pizzas, 2 sauces, a glass of wine and a pint of beer, bit pricey. As I can only judge on the gluten free base the place is always quite busy so might be worth giving a go for non gluten free people.

My friend and I dined at this place last night. Right from the start, service was a bit disappointing. It took a while for us to receive menus, and the table wasn’t clean when we sat down. We placed our orders without any issues, but the experience took a turn when we finished our meal.

One of the female servers (an Asian staff member) was particularly rude and dismissive. I politely asked her for a takeaway box while she was serving other customers. She gave me a nasty look, which I brushed off at the time, and I even told her she could bring it over whenever she had a chance. Instead, she spent her time chatting with her friends who had just finished ordering drinks. After they left, she stood near the POS machine by the exit of the bar, clearly aware we were waiting, but continued to ignore us.

We waited over 12 minutes, watching her make no effort to bring the takeaway box, so we eventually decided to leave. As soon as we stood up and exited, she suddenly went over to clean our table. Completely disregarding our request. It felt very personal, as if she just didn’t want to serve us.

It’s honestly one of the worst service experiences I’ve had, which is a shame because the atmosphere is fantastic. I brought my friend, who’s visiting from out of town, based on a recommendation from another friend who loves this place. Unfortunately, it felt like the service here is selective, and we clearly weren’t treated with the same...

I enjoy Ollie’s pizzas, their crusts in particular are great and they taste good, but I always find myself so disappointed with the amount of toppings you get for the price you pay. There are so many options with better value around, I recommend Madonna Electric up the road or Leonardo’s in Carlton.

I also ordered one of the guest pizzas recently via their website. It tells you to check their insta to see the flavour so I checked the most recent post to see a yummy looking potato pizza. When I picked it up it was some kind of sausage and rocket that I wouldn’t have chosen if I’d known and was not worth $29. I checked back on their insta to find that the most recent guest pizza post I saw was from a month prior and couldn’t find anything about the current flavour in their posts, stories or highlights. Unfortunately disappointing all round, I only order from here if that’s what...
