Such an incredible day with some amazing vibes up on the roof for Xmas Weekend Breakfast Club. Unfortunately despite the fact that we had been there for several hours with no problems, when a few friends and I took a breather and went downstairs to use a toilet rather than waiting in lines upstairs, we come back 5 mins later and found us and everyone else was now barred from re entering the roof by a very aggressive and deliberately intimidating member of the security staff who patronisingly informed us with force that we were simply not allowed to return to the roof until such a time that a “percentage of people exited and came down”. Capacity limits are entirely understandable, when there is a system of when people leave, others may then take their spot. However, when we saw patrons coming downstairs, not only were they told they would not be able to return upstairs (a courtesy we were not given only minutes earlier, and despite the rest of our friends still being upstairs) we still were pushed and yelled at to “clear the area” as no one would be allowed to return upstairs. Seemed the only people allowed up were ones who knew staff personally, as several people came downstairs to use the VIP room and toilet and then quickly returned upstairs with no problem. Extremely disappointed to be charged $50 for a party just to be banned from entering the main area so the venue could seemingly even out crowds to down stairs rooms. This continued for hours, still being aggressively dismissed and told we weren’t allowed to re enter the roof, with no exceptions or allowances regardless of capacity or how many people left, ending with us missing the rest of the party. This was the case for many other patrons, who we watched be bullied and generally pushed around by the same member of security who we recognised from having done the same thing over and over at the front door for years, I believe his name is Bobby. Most racist group of security guards. Would not recommend. Would not give me a reason to not let me in (I'm black) but gladly let everyone white person in. Won't provide any reason whatsoever. They said they had appropriate equpiment to test for metal, weopons, alcohol and everything. I was willing to participate but they didnt even want to conduct the tests. They wouldn't even bother checking my ID. They said it was because of recent shooting but let every Caucasian in. I asked to be checked/analysed any way possible... but they wouldn't. They hugged every white person who went in and out but every one else. No. Would not recommend. Why go to a place where they only ley you in if you know the security guards or if you are white. I stayed outside the club and waited to see who left the place. The only people that left were white people (half knew security and half didn't).if you're not "Caucasian" don't bother. When chicks came they did the bare minimum. I asked a Caucasian female friend to.enter and pretend they didn't know me and they were allowed entry (barely even bothered to even check properly). I have video evidence of their racism. Literally everyone who left the club was either white or know the security guards. Whoever is in charge needs to look at the security footage. There's a reason why this place is rated 3.5 stars. Manager either is aware of the racism or...

The most horribly rude and impatient bouncer I've ever had the unfortunate luck of encountering....

Been here twice, first time I held my tongue, this time, all I did was ask him why is he being rude, and he denied me entry after I already paid... Saying I'm rude (original!)....So I took my money and left..... A great night for my departure of Melbourne...

Cool place, good music, DJ's, awesome atmosphere inside.... Only shame you have to go through this horrible vibe in the entry....

I'm sorry for him if he's dealing with annoying people on the door all day- but I (nor anyone) shouldn't except this kind of behaviour only for having my own water bottle and being upset for emptying it all away on the street (as he asked-and I did)

If you're that miserable in this job-change it- don't take it out on me
