If you like hotpot or malatang, you shall try skewer bar. Some people might think it’s a place where they do grilled skewers. Yes, they do, but they are more popular because they run a model where customers pick skewers from the display fridge, like malatang and then put in the simmering stock themselves, like the hotpot. Then what’s good about this type compared to malatang or hotpot? First, compared to hotpot, they are cheaper if you want to try different varieties of food. 💰Everything comes with a skewer and your bill will be counted based on how many skewers you have. Second, it allows you to enjoy the fun of having hotpot where you can share one pot and cook with friends and family. 🤩 One thing I think Qipo needs to improve is to expand their range of ingredients, though I understand that it’s hard for a small restaurant to manage their stock and keep food fresh if they have a lot of variety of food. BTW, they make the best glutinous rice cake with caramel brown sugar!

Skewers in a hotpot! In love with the idea of grabbing whatever you want from the self service area, so you can decide what and how much food you want. Each skewer is only priced at $0.9! The tomato soup base is rich and delicious, the mala soup base is a must for spicy food lovers! The restaurant also offers bbq skewers too. We tried the bbq pork intestine, and it was crispy on the outside, and full of flavours. Not to mention that this is also one of the cleanest bbq+hotpot place I’ve been to! Highly recommend this place.

I really love the mixed hotpot and grill food here. Imagine you can have two different style of food in just one place. We ordered over 200 dollars on both hotpot and grill. Everything was so delicious and my favorite two are the grill pork belly and grill beef intestines. It’s a bit sweet and spicy. We chose the tomato soup base and blank one. So we can taste the original flavour of the vegetables. Highly recommend for friends gathering.
