Schnitz Spencer Outlet — Restaurant in Melbourne

We were doing some baby clothes shopping at Spencer Outlet Centre, and let me tell you, it's an easy way to work up an appetite. So we check out Schnitz, in the shopping court. Schnitz serves a variety of schnitzels, salads and parmas, with fries of course! They just refreshed their menu, adding a help of new vegan and gluten free items. We started off a chicken schnitzel and Mediterranean salad. The schnitzel has a light and delicious crumbing, which went really well with the fresh salad.

Then we had the Sweet ‘N Smokey Turkish roll with pork schnitzel, rainbow slaw, apple sauce and smokey BBQ sauce. It was a nice and rich roll, perfect for these cold Melbourne nights. Went down a treat with some perfectly crispy seasoned fries too. For drinks, we tried Naked Life Raspberry and Lime, which was super refreshing.

The service was friendly and fast. If you sit in the back you’ll get table service and a spectacular view of Spencer Street too. If you need a filling meal in a flash, you can’t go...

Food was good, however was overcharged. No adequate recourse offered. Asked for the dine in area, offered take away.

Every excuse given, including larger chip sizes, and then because it was beef. No where on their board does it state surcharge for beef selection. Brought it to the attention of an employee who said he was a stand in manager, No recourse offered, as we already eaten our food. Be very careful of this place.

Food was good, service poor, cleanliness was adequate.

I do not recommend.

Your staff could not find the extra charge on the electronic board. The rudeness experienced is one I would not even expect from a provider. A poor show.

Came around maybe 5:30pm yesterday as usual and wow :) thats the lowest number of workers on a saturday i’ve ever witnessed battling the craziest intensity of orders, yet they got each other’s back so amazingly with an indestructible team spirit, still with that cute smile on their face handling food to me with no less sweetest service than ever. People waiting for orders didn’t even dare to make a fuss knowing this kinda team always has staff that hold the brainpower which can put you in ur place if you ever pulled nonsense.

Give them the trophy theyre real champs plus who did scheduling fr hit jackpot on this one cus aint no way ur brave enough to schedule like that if those 4 staff worked yesterday aren’t your strongest, most powerful ones :)...
