honestly extremely disappointed with the service and experience at the lygon street location. came on Tuesday the 11th of April at around 8:00pm after seeing this place pop up here and there in the media and was dying to give it a try. had a look at their socials/google info to make sure they were open and was shown that the closing time was 11:30pm. perfect.

My partner and i showed up after a bit of a drive and spent some time looking at the menu that was placed out of the front to decide which cheesecake flavour we wanted, we made our way inside and went to place our order and told the lady working at the front (who looked like she was completely on her own) which cheesecakes we were after, to this she immediately said that there were none left and that they had sold out for the day, at 8pm, during the school holiday period.

I understand that issues like this can be out of anyone’s control but the lack of empathy, understanding, and customer service skills shown to us by this employee only made our disappointment worse, no apology, no redirection into something else that we might like on the menu, we were forced to just leave then and there. I would have thought that to have sold out of your main menu item it would at least be worth advertising that on social media platforms for the sake of people travelling to your locations to try what you’re known for? or at least advertising it out the front of your store to save the disappointment of those who come in expecting to order. But no, none of this happened.

We got: 🥤 Lotus Shake This was a tasty shake as expected and they’re very generous with the biscoff sauce! Although, we do prefer it to have a thicker consistency.

🧀 Mrs Thousand Cheesecake on a Stick THIS is why you should visit Sticksies as this dessert is so unique, and especially if you’re a fan of cheesecake 😋 The cheesecake had a nice creamy & dense consistency but somehow still felt quite light, we chose a classic toppings which added a layer of sweetness but not overpowering.

🥞 More-o Oreo Dutch Pancakes Small, soft & fluffy pancakes, freshly cooked so we could eat it warm, good ratio with the toppings and perfect to pair with a scoop of ice cream too!

Overall, you can’t go wrong with these delicious desserts! As they’re quite generous, some items may feel a bit too much, BUT you can always share one portion with your loved ones. It’ll also give you a reason to come back and try more of...
