The store could do with a bit of an overhaul, nothing fancy but just a bit of spruce and tidy would go a long way. I asked for a BBQ pork Banh Mi with no onion, coriander or cucumber... simple enough request one might think BUT when I sat down in the park across the road to my surprise I got a meatball (Nem Nuong) Banh Mi with what looks like was cooked in an oniony sauce and logs of cucumber...there were a few bits of coriander scattered within but it looked like it was just a byproduct of cross contamination with the tongs or just the ingredients mixing with one another in the Bain Marie. They hid the eftpos terminal, and only when i checked my bank account did I realised they increased the price on the spot. This is deceptive business and atrocious behaviour by the staff at Tina's hot bread. When i tried to confront them about it they said it was surcharge for eftpos. Ive been a customer here many times and have NEVER been surcharged 50c for a $4.50 purchase. Ridiculous. Scammers.
Coffee though, was...
