Zouki Cafe - St Vincent’s Private Hospital, East Melbourne — Restaurant in Melbourne

I used this cafe quite. A bit as an inpatient at hospital. Coffee and food was quite good. But, today they get 5 stars. I ordered a coffee between appointments. After I ordered I realised I didn’t have my wallet. While I went to look for it they made my coffee anyway and when I came back and said “I am sorry but I can’t pay” they didn’t bat an eyelid......said “take the coffee and enjoy”. When I finished my appointments I found my wallet in the car and went back and paid. They could not have been more lovely. Well done Zouki ...what goes around comes...

St Evins is a big bustling cafe at the bottom of St Vincent’s Hospital. It’s pretty much a captured market here for hospital patients and their visitors as it’s a bit of a walk to most other cafes. There’s a decent range of snacks, cakes and pastries available at the cafe but they did look a little expensive to me. Service was efficient. One person taking orders, one person tied to the coffee machine and the brew was therefore delivered quickly and pleasantly. But, it was just a coffee. The flavour was ok at best. I found it unmemorable and overall...

Here for one night and had to have breakfast lunch and dinner at Zouki. Food quality was reasonable, above my expectation. Coffee was also surprisingly reasonable, I was expecting worse. Friendly staff, hotbar food servings were generous, tastes very reasonable as well. They don't use plastics but retaher biodegradable material for take away - anothrt bonus....
