I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the exceptional dining experience my friends and I had at your establishment. From the moment we walked through your doors, we were met with outstanding service, delectable food, and a delightful atmosphere.
First and foremost, the food at your restaurant was truly outstanding. The pizzas we ordered were beyond delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a wonderfully thin, crispy crust. Every bite was a treat for the taste buds, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Additionally, the tiramisu we had for dessert was simply heavenly. The rich, creamy texture and the perfectly balanced coffee and cocoa flavors made it a dessert to remember.
I must also commend your restaurant on the quality of your coffee. The aromatic brew and the beautiful presentation added a touch of elegance to our dining experience. It was a pleasure to savor each sip and enjoy the care and attention put into every cup.
What truly set our experience apart, however, was the exceptional service we received throughout our visit. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. Their knowledge and enthusiasm about the menu were evident, and they were more than willing to accommodate any special requests or dietary restrictions. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made me feel valued as a customer.
Furthermore, the overall experience at your restaurant was exceptional. The ambiance was inviting, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere that was perfect for a memorable dining experience. The reasonable prices were an added bonus, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
In light of my wonderful experience, I would highly recommend your restaurant to others. The combination of great food, excellent service, beautiful coffee, and reasonable prices make it an ideal choice for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.
Once again, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the fantastic experience my friends and I had at your restaurant. We will certainly be returning in the future, eager to indulge in your delectable offerings once again.

Read morei hate to be discerning but i expected better.
starters were great - got the burrata and added proscuitto, plus the proscuitto e bufala. both were good but the burrata was the clear winner. the pepata di cozze alla tarantina (steamed mussels in tomato sugo) was a crowd favourite too. calamari was just ok - bit soggy.
for mains we got the duck ravioli, lasagna, honey glazed roast lamb shoulder and veal scaloppine. we also got a zucca pizza and smokey ananas pizza.
duck ravioli was the biggest let down. we were really looking forward to it but it wasn’t hot when it came out. was probably room temp and felt it might have been sitting out for a bit. the shredded duck interior was a bit odd, not sure what i was expecting but it wasn’t this. sauce was tasty though.
the lasagna was decent - can’t really go wrong w it. the honey glazed roast lamb shoulder was excellent! really well cooked and the sauce was delectable. the veal was ok - nothing to remember, but not bad.
the pizzas were good - we loved the dough and the smokey ananas was the winner. the stracciatella is a great touch!
dessert was pretty good all around. we got the tiramisu, cannolo, sfinci siciliani, panna cotta, strawberry and chocolate gelati and a milo choc top.
tiramisu was perfectly balanced. coffee flavour wasn’t too strong and it wasn’t too sweet. really good. cannolo was a nice texture and interesting! sfinci siciliani was a little sweet treat. definitely share it. panna cotta was a bit too firm in our opinion but tasted delicious and i love a good coulis. chocolate gelati was a bit too rich for us but if that’s your thing, go forth.
the ambience was really nice and the staff were really attentive. shame that the mains weren’t as good as the starters and dessert. it lacks some attention to detail in my opinion. i’m not mad about it but don’t think...
Read moreOne of the best restaurants in the country. It’s a big claim, but Roccella backs it up.
Before I tell you why, I want to tell you a few things. Firstly, I have food allergies (coeliac). Cant have gluten or I get very, very sick. I also can’t have dairy. So I’m ultra careful about eating out anywhere.
I came across Roccella after seeing it pop up on a few gluten free discussion groups. So I did some research, looked through their menu and they seemed to take it very seriously. I thought “wow that great”. I’ll try them.
So tonight I booked dinner for the first time.
Here’s my review:
Amazing food. The garlic bread was light, fluffy and gluten free (but you’d never know). Easily the best bread I’ve ever tasted.
The pizza was incredibly tasty. The dough was a thin pan but fluffy crust. I barely could get through it all.
For dessert I had a chocolate orange cake. The chocolate was to die for !! Rich, but not too rich and the gelato on top was so refreshing.
Staff, staff, staff. I believe people are your biggest asset and you can tell a good restaurant by its people. If they can attract and retain talent, then that’s everything.
Our waiter was Mauro and he was very attentive, despite the place filling up. Lovely guy. Even the woman on the check-in desk (her name escapes me) was quick and efficient and she was also clearing and turning around tables super fast!
Price is comparable to most restaurants in the area. Very reasonable.
Atmosphere is everything you want in an Italian restaurant.
The little touches at the front door have this deli style atmosphere. Reminds me of old school Lygon St in the 80’s and 90’s.
Would I come back again? Absolutely. In a heart beat. I think I’ve found my new favourite restaurant.
If you’re thinking about trying here, think no more. Make a booking,...
