The Office Wine Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Mildura

If you’re looking for the worst service in town look no further than The Office Mildura. First we were seated outside in the street . It was freezing and the wind blowing my skirt up. We asked to move and was told they were fully booked . The booths inside and tables all remained three quarters vacant for the entire night so not sure what happened to their bookings. Then the waitress bought us out bread which after spending $270 for 2 people and waiting 50 min for our food we thought it was complimentary. Apparently it was not as she came and informed us and shamed us for eating it as apparently we should have told her we did not order it. Then finally right before closing they brought out our food. Entrees and main all at once so hence we could not finish all the food and it was an absolute waste. My dinner was thrown in front of me by the waitress from hell because I dare to challenge her and say how dare you shame us for a mistake you made. It was 2 pieces of bread. So we will never return to this over priced poor excuse for a venue. Waste of money . Ruined out 6 year Anniversary....

Been here three times since moving up and I must say the last time was very disappointing. Firstly, the wait staff, friendly, but you never see them. The girls at the bar are too concerned having a gossip and a giggle to check if you need a refill at your table or another schooner. The burger and chips to their credit was quite good, just don't order the steak. It was burnt and bland and the meat was grey. They cooked it too long as well. What's worse is they stack it on top of the mashed potatoes, with the veg underneath the mash! If you can even call it veg, ribbons of carrot and some lettuce, 1 or 2 pieces of broccoli. That's what everyone loves under their mashed potatoes, warm soggy lettuce and carrot (not). I felt cheated having to pay $38 for that.

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and go somewhere else. Will not be...

Went last Tuesday. Been there a few times before and its been quite good. Firstly the 3 young girls on the floor looked stressed even though it wasnt really busy. Had to get our own menus. We had to get up and order drinks at the bar. We order a medium and a medium rare steak - they both came out well done. No sign of pink. Everything was drowned in the sauce. There was no salt and pepper on the table. The kitchen was playing loud metal music that could easily be heard if you were seated next to it. Very unsatisfying experience all round.
