This is regarding the Enzian restaurant. Where to start? Rude Manager is a good place. When the manager challenges your group when we refused our sides (mash, vegetables) because they were brought well AFTER our mains then you begin to wonder about the care factor in our feedback.
Not only did he challenge us with "all restaurants are different with the timing of their sides", or that they met their "25 minute order to delivery timeframe" - I could go on with his rude excuses with us being in the wrong (something about "you should order shared dishes if you want shared sides at the same time"), then you give up to quietly talk to him at the end when the bill is handed over (where they charged us for a side not even received!!). That small chat when we advised they failed in business 101 in customer service and that we would not come back was responded with "don't care and I advised my manager who doesn't want you back". Wow, just wow. Good luck with your future in a short season in a small ski resort. Disgusting behavior for a restaurant where you pay premium $$ and expect premium service, not just the food (which was average anyway).
P.S. To rub salt in the wound - three staff members staring at us and looking our way making our kids feel uncomfortable. When we asked for a spoon for our mash potato, we are given a teaspoon. A way of telling us who was superior in this challenge. Sorry folks, there are more restaurants for us to explore then you drawing in a clientele in a small location.

It also included detailed instructions on how to park in the mountain and access the hotel. This IS A CONTRACT. So I told the family - we are Booked for snow holiday at Mt Buller! But then I received a 3 line email In Which claimed they had double booked it was a pathetically short email and insipid email in my opinion saying We double booked you with Air BNB. I’m sorry. That was it. Nothing else. No further correspondence from them. I booked via Booking.com but they prioritise Air BNB bookings over Booking.com as I had a valid contract! So heads up warning there if booking via Booking.com That was it. I couldn’t reach them via phone and they didn’t respond to any more emails and kept my money. Eventually I engaged a lawyer to try and recover the money. Meanwhile I have to explain to my family that we are NO LONGER ABLE TO GO TO MT BULLER AS PLANNED because the hotels at the same price points and accommodation levels are all booked. The family misses out because of a hotel which HAS STILL NOT ANSWERED. What a Disgusting...

The staff were also wonderful and provided great service. However, the dining experience was let down by what seemed to be a lack of staff on duty. While the employees present were fantastic, it was clear they were stretched thin, which impacted the overall flow of the meal. I also found the wine list to be quite peculiar.
