Bake Table and Tea — Restaurant in New South Wales

I bought a rare tea that is hard to find in Australia from here. Both tea boxes were stale and I emailed the store to no avail. A week later to follow up I called and spoke to someone who was very dismissive. I then called back again asked for it to be escalated to the manager who told me to speak to the importer in Melbourne. Having worked in retail for many years I understand that resolution should usually take place in the first instance with the retail outlet and not the manufacturer. Very disappointing...

I personally haven't been to the store, but I'm sure it's wonderful. I made an online order for a gift for my sister. They were out of an item on my list, I received the most pleasant phone call advising me of this, Holly and her team were kind enough to fill the order with other wonderful baking goods and also gift wrapped it. WOW what can I say. What a lovely shop and cafe. Bought a few different items and then went for the Devonshire tea and WOW just WOW from the scones which were so fresh, the jam so lovely as it wasn’t too sweet and then the cream wow just perfect.
