Industrial Brew — Restaurant in New South Wales

I am appalled at the serive here. I stopped in for a iced chocolate and a chocolate muffin and the man serving us wasnt the warmest. After sitting down my friend and i recived our drinks within about 5 minutes but yet my muffin still hadnt arrived. After another ten minutes with no muffin my friend ordered another drink and inquired to the whereabouts of my muffin. They said they forgot it and that id get it soon. So all it had to have done to it was to be microwaved (again) which is a 30 second job. 15 more minutes passed where i was done waiting and went to request for a refund for my muffin as the desire to eat it was long gone and replaced with annoyance. To which my request was flat out denied as he says hes going to microwave it now. I inform him im no longer interested and have waited long enough. He then got agro and went off at me stating that they were very busy and didnt have the time. I had seen lots of cakes and drinks go out in the time i was waiting, for people who arrived after me. I too work in the food industry and so i know this isnt acceptable. He then walks out and hands it to me on a plate as ive already told him im leaving. This is unacceptable, im certain the man was a manager which makes it more concerning. We all get busy days but a customer shouldnt have to remind you twice...

What a shocka. We ordered the focaccia with chicken. The chicken was packet chicken. My guess is frozen shredded chicken from coles. The meal was not toasted at all. This cafe( if you want to call it that.)has bad attitude from the girls behind the counter. The menu also indicated you had Diet Coke on the menu when in fact you have coke with no sugar(yes is it different since you asked) over 30 dollars later and see you later. If you want better service and great food this place is so not for you. The owners need to look at their concept in what it takes to run a food business. We ordered 3 coffees, 2 egg&bacon muffins, and a ham&cheese croissant. We were advised it’ll take 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, we got our coffees, and it took another 20 before we got our food. Other customers were frustrated as the four girls working there had not even started on their muffin after 30mins. The wait time and the quality of food was absolutely shocking. It was the tiniest croissant we’ve encountered, one small sheet of ham and bland cheese. They also kindly tightly wrapped the muffins using a cling wrap instead of a baking paper. We could have gone into the kitchen and started making the pastry from the scratch in the time they took to serve the three most simple breakfast...
