Rubony’s Cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

Unbelievably mean spirited. I bought dinner for $30 and was still charged two dollars to plug my phone into the wall I paid to charge my phones. I informed the waitress I would quickly step out to grab something and be back. The staff unplugged my phones. Charging me two dollars wasn’t enough to cover the electricity use for a total of 40 minutes after telling me the charge was because people sat using their laptops all day long. Even though I wasn’t charging a laptop, it was just too mobile phones for navigation while I drove to Tamworth. My car power outlet doesn’t work. It’s got dark and I’m worried about getting lost on the road. The staff didn’t have the decency to let me get Beyond 15% in the 15 minutes of sitting down eating dinner and ducking I out. This kind of backhanded pettiness is the kind of waiter that spits in your food because they don’t like a tone you have or takes from your pockets of your jacket in a chair while you’re in the bathroom. It’s extremely petty to charge me two dollars to charge my device and then unplugged my devices . Of course I informed the waitress that I was popping out and would be back shortly . We drove to Grafton in a Sunday to view the jacaranda blooms and since it’s a small town, all the shops and restaurants were closed by 12-1pm. We were very hungry and there was very little option being a vegan. The Grafton shopping world(mall) did not have much options. Burrito bar and another Japanese place have all closed down. So me and my husband wandered around to find some vegan food and we saw a cafe open and some ppl sitting outside enjoying the good weather. Luckily they had 2-3 vegan dishes and we ordered vegan pesto fettuccine and a vegan bruschetta with pumpkin, mushrooms and pesto sauce. It was mind blowingly good. Rubonys cafe is a must stop for all locals in grafton and anyone travelling through! The customer service i received here was incredible! The food is amazing as it’s always a generous portion, served hot and fresh and you don’t have to wait long at all! Great coffee!
