Indish - Indian Restro-Bar — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

I went with my friends 31/7/25 night for dinner, We were 4 people, i thought lets try new venture, But i was very disspointed with chilli chicken and Veg manchurian, the gravy for both of them is exactly same the only difference is chicken and machurian, and manchurian was not fully cooked and more than chilli chicken it taste like tomato honey chicken, And agfhani chicken tikka was tooo sweet more creamy with no taste, and that pindi chole, Too much masalas which is not cooked properly one can easily tell the masalas are not cooked and taste like more of haldi, only bhindi was okay, The naan suppose to be soft but we got 5 garlic papad naan, its seriously papad super thin and cant fold the naan too hold my curry. malai chaap is not malai chaap it was more of frozen chaap they de froze it and put some cream no taste at all. and how can i forgot that palak patta chaat, its more besan than palak too oily that only have besan cant see any palak i would never recommend this to anyone and this is my first...

We went all the way from Maitland to Indish Restaurant as we’ve always enjoyed the food at Indian Treasure. However, this visit was quite disappointing. The service was good, but the food did not meet our expectations. Out of the three starters we ordered, only one was decent while the other two were quite poor. The Khasta Tikkis were soggy, though the replacements we requested were slightly better. The Kofta Curry was overly sweet, and the Kadhai Paneer was just average. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience. We had high expectations, but unfortunately, the food quality did not match. We're thrilled to have found this wonderful Indian restaurant in Darby St. Authentic flavours and presentation of every dish, with an impressive range of items on the bar and dining menus to select from - the mocktail range is especially impressive and the service is outstanding! The atmosphere is very relaxing, friendly and perfectly matches the 'art meets dining' 'restobar' vibe that is promised. We have found our new favourite Newy restaurant and look forward to enjoying many evenings with great food, family and friends over wonderful Indian dishes in this tucked away gem of a restaurant.
