Well! Newy Burger Co and their team of experts catered our wedding and we were absolutely stoked with the way they went about it!

Throughout planning, Kirsty was lovely to work with and made the experience enjoyable and as stress free as possible. Big thanks, Kirsty!

NBC catered for 65 and they were utterly fantastic with cooking up and serving their delicious canapés (mac and cheese balls, chicken drumettes, potato cup bruschetta), main burgs (McNewy, Stocko, Redhead) and desserts (mousse jars, pudding cups) – we just want more! Our guests with dietary requirements (coeliac, allergies, intolerances, vegan, vegetarian) were prepared with such consideration and were a big hit. Also, a hot plus was that we did not have to organise dinnerware or cutlery for our guests as the mains were served in fun festival-like packaging that was easily disposed of.

Overall, NBC surpassed our expectations! We experienced fantastic quality of service through great communication, professionalism, friendliness, and amazing talent. We highly recommend Newy Burger Co for catering events and for any couples that are wanting a cruisy and fun take on wedding catering as NBC delivered just that for us.

I had been looking forward to visiting this place for a few years as I love a good burger. They nailed the Covid requirements when I got there with check in, spacing and masks.

For me that’s as good as it got.

When I ordered I asked for a can of Coke and a glass of ice. I can handle the thimble sized plastic glass but I can’t handle the way in which it was served.

In normal times this would have been bad, in a pandemic unforgivable. My “ice” was two bare cupped hands of frost out of an empty bag of ice. No gloves, no tongs, no ice. The only good thing was that I saw it and did not use it.

When the meal of their signature burger with the addition of chips on the plate arrived it was slightly undersized for the price.

The chips were oh so salty. Way too much salt. On par with some of the worst fast food chains on their day.

But it didn’t stop there. The burger was borderline inedible due to salt. I’ve not come across this problem before.

Anyway, one star due to the terrible hygiene breach and high salt content...

O my Goodness, what an amazing Hamburger place. We were looking to have a good hamburger and asked Google map for the best and nearest hamburger place it led us to Newcastle and boy where they right on point. We had a double burger and it was amazing perfectly cooked, with all the trimmings they also have a burger special but that was like three patties and that would have been too much food but if you're really hungry I suggest that and then they have something that's like it, but, I believe it's with chicken and it's fried like a schnitzel I believe is what they call it hear in Australia. If you go there you won't be disappointed I can hardly wait to go back there again yummy in my tummy. You will not be disappointed they also had cracklings and I'm from North Carolina and we have those as well so it was nice to see them here in Australia not a healthy option but for that matter neither is a hamburger lol but if you feel like indulging that is the...
