The menu and food is real Mediterranean food done well. The veiw of the beach sublime and the decor interesting and cozy. The staff are friendly and professional. We were so glad we chose the roast lamb with seasoned potatoes and greens. The lamb was melt in your mouth and everything was seasoned beautifully. Such a satifying meal. We also enjoyed our entree plates that we shared. The salt and pepper squid with aoli was great and we also tried the borek. These borek were finger food sized and filled with sweet potatoe, chic peas and feta. They were ok as well. Although we were fairly full the our experience just wouldn't be complete without trying a little dessert. So we chose to try a plate of churros which came as 4 finger sized serve alone with chocolate dipping sauce and caramel will dipping sauce. Plus a small cappuccino. Meanwhile my husband enjoyed the wine and beer he selected. The ambience was enhanced by the musician playing a guitar by the front door. The only negative we experienced was as the night went on and the restaurant filled up we become increasing more uncomfortable because of the humidity due to the lack of air conditioning. The friendly waiting staff member explained to us that the air conditioner had broken earlier that week. So we can only hope it's fixed the next time we dine in. Despite the heat our experience was a happy and memorable one. Thank you to the chef for cooking really decilicious Mediterranean food. Such a delight to find this gem.in Newcastle. We highly recommend you try the lamb shoulder roast with trimmings. Oh and yes it did...

I used here for my wedding proposal.

The atmosphere is one of the best in Newcastle because the lightings are gorgeous and wallpapers are fashionable. On top of that, they have amazing ocean views. No matter what seats you get, you will enjoy the atmosphere.

The services are amazing. They helped my wedding proposal at the restaurant. Before the event, they carefully listened to my requests for that. So, I had the perfect wedding proposal for my partner. The staff are friendly and professional. So, I can guarantee that they will deliver fantastic customer services each customers anytime even though the time is the busiest.

Food is outstanding. I personally think the quality is the best in Newcastle. In particular, any seafood dishes including pasta are highly recommend. Compared to other luxury restaurants in Newcastle, Rustica food is cheaper and more delicious than others, especially, the sources are speechless.

Needless to say, the drinks are also fantastic. My partner usually doesn't drink, but she loves their cocktails such as long island iced tea.

Overall, I can conclude that Rustica is best restaurants in Newcastle. So, I highly recommend this restaurant. When I have a chance, I'm gonna use here...

My partner and I had a date night in this beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was fabulous from the moment we walked in. And the view WOW! We were a little disappointed to be put on a table at the back corner (but we also understand we booked late) there was a cold draft and really did feel shoved in the corner.. especially towards the end our meal when a couple of the staff were sitting near our table on a laptop and sometimes were quiet loud it took away the fine dining experience a little… We found it took far to long to be asked if we would like a drink actually we were never asked I had to pull someone up to ask for a drink. And the same when we needed another drink. When we finally had a drink though oh my!! The cocktails were 10/10🙏 The waitstaff were all very friendly and bubbly though was lovely. The meals were delicious, the olives were the absolute best I’ve ever tasted in my life!! The lamb main was so good (a little dry in some parts took a lot of chewing) but those potatoes I am still thinking about! Desert came at the end of the night, it was ok a scoop of ice cream would have made it better though. All in all we did have a nice date night at Rustica and would...
