I'm a big fan of Middle Eastern cuisine so headed to Moor and got this lovely summery dish on a lovely summer's day.
Flatbread, Persian chicken, salad
Really delicious perfectly cooked tender spiced Persian chicken, refreshing salad with lovely yoghurt dressing but the flatbread was a little too chewy for my liking but held all the contents together without going soggy.

I've visited Moor but tonight I came for the regular Thursday special tagine night. I chose the lamb, pomegranate and almond tagine with a side of cous cous, orange, herbs, pistachio Persian spiced rice pilaf.
The spoon just went through the succulent lamb, with the sweet spices and burst of pomegranate, crunch from the almonds, enjoyed with the fluffy cous cous, this made for a lovely meal.
Gotta grab dessert: Grilled figs, vanilla ice cream, chocolate arabesque, pomegranates
Soft sweet figs, bitterness from the brulee'd figs, touch of sweet acidity from the pomegranates, crunch from the chocolate wafer, smoothness of the vanilla ice cream made for a light but satisfying finish to the night. Thanks to the friendly staff for a lovely...

On arrival I waited to make sure I was all good to sit in while coffee was being made for folk in front of me. Gave me a chance to look at the decor. Got a relaxed vibe and assurance I was in a good spot. I took my all day menu and sat in a corner in the sun. Water was soon on the table and I was not rushed to order which was good as the menu was very much all filled with my style of food. I settled on flat white coffee and spicy scrambled eggs - see the photo!
Coffee was good and not overly hot which I like. Then the food, bottom line, the best scrambled eggs I've had! Eggs where spiced and came with chorizo sausage and a great onion/chilli/ coriander topping - I added a hash brown.
Start to finish was amazing, set me up for the entire day. Truly head to the venue if you are in the area. Staff are so nice and welcoming. I will be back though for an evening meal.. Thursday night is tagine night.. got to try that. Fantastic...
Read moreWe enjoyed a delicious tasty Friday lunch here. I had the Morcilla sausage with home made baked beans and perfectly 'pouched' not poached eggs. (Similar but technically more difficult) on sourdough. This variation on sausage and beans comes off perfectly and is accompanied by a delightful mixed green salad. The chef doesn't fall into the trap of adding a strong dressing or sauce and salt levels are spot on (low). My wife enjoyed the Arabic chicken salad which came wrapped in a generous pita bread accompanied by Hummous and another Mediterranean style dip. We were half way through a 60 kilometre bike ride so had ravenous appetites. The portions filled us up without leaving us bloated for the ride home. Finally the Large Cappuccinos before and after our lunch were perfect as usual. The staff here are delightful which is why our cycling group have made this their stop of choice on a Monday morning and our choice for a special lunch ride. Thank...
