UPDATE in MAR 2024: Sad to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant anymore. During our last trip on Mar 30th, I reserved a table for four for dinner. We arrived on time for our reservation. We informed one of the service staff at the restaurant who checked our details and showed us our table. We then placed our order within 5 minutes. Our food took some time to arrive, and while chatting with our kids, another service staff (upon seeing our table empty with no menu or food) came up to us and asked whether we have valid bookings. I was surprised (we already placed order!). I responded yes, we do, but she appeared as if she wasn't expecting us to have a booking - her reaction appeared as if she was under the impression we walked in without notice and took a table randomly. She quickly responded with a harsh tone, whose name is it on to which I replied my name and prodded further for how many people. Her intention was clearly to humiliate us. I got annoyed at this point - why ask all this when we were shown our table by one their staff and we already placed order. Another service staff quickly came to our table with our food and apologised.

I always loved this place for its hospitality and welcoming vibe. But this one experience is enough to stop me from visiting this place again. Food quality has dropped, portions shrunk and service dwindled. Nope, not worth the price. No longer my happy place.

Our favourite place in Newscastle. The food here is so authentically Thai, we were here every day during our Newcastle trip. In fact, we returned to Newcastle again just so that we can have our dinner here again. Must try is their seafood in coconut. Wonderful friendly service. Delicious food, served quickly. Beautiful port view especially during sunset. Kid friendly too. My...

I was excited to visit this highly rated Thai restaurant with my boyfriend after reading all the glowing reviews. We made a reservation online, but when we arrived, they couldn’t find our booking—even after showing our confirmation message. Thankfully, there was a two-person table available, but we had to wait 40 minutes for our food.

During that time, we watched the couple next to us finish their meal and leave, despite having only ordered two minutes before us. This made us question their system and left us feeling quite disheartened. Finally, after an hour, we received our first dish: the green curry. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm and surprisingly bland. To make matters worse, we found a mosquito in the dish. After notifying the server, we decided to cancel it—it was simply disgusting.🤮

Our second dish was the restaurant's signature pineapple fried rice. The shrimp on top was completely cold, and the rice itself was also lukewarm. It was incredibly disappointing. After waiting so long to try this highly recommended place, we left hungry and dissatisfied. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but the experience fell far short of...

We dined here on Valentine's Day. Had the signature pineapple Fried rice. It was delicious. Probably the best fried rice I've ever had. It did get cold quick but that's logical because it's inside a pineapple. The flavours were insane and you can have fun ripping pineapple chunks out of it at the end.

We had the chicken skewers which had an incredible peanut sauce. Absolutely perfection and served piping hot.

We had the signature Icon Duck which comes out on fire. A very fun dish to have at dinner. This was packed with an insane amount of fresh ginger and I'm here for it.

Location is stunning. Right on the water. Felt super romantic and fancy. Highly recommend it for date night.

Negatives - The service was lacking a bit due to the fact they never clear tables. A dirty table was next to us for an hour and they took ages to clean our table. They also failed to ask us if we wanted more drinks. They could have also sold us dessert if they tried but there was zero staff interaction and personality.

Would I go again? Yes. Rice...
