Past few visits - sadly disappointing quality of food tried various dishes, maybe the wrong dish ? nothing to look forward to other than the spectacular views. (Chicken schnitzel still good I hope.) Do note the catering manager took the feedback on stride and looking into to doing better..will definitely come back and try again... thank you for listening. ...... Used to be our go to for S&P squid and chicken schnitzel, and would recommended for visitors, fantastic view great service. However recent visit was disappointing, my favourite S&P squid now only come in entree size, and was tiny portion with few leaves for garnish and to go back and order a second serve would have to wait a long queue. Arancini looked good but taste plain, won't recommend this dish. Would suggest put it back to main, happy to pay. 15April Back with a big group - *Atmosphere - great (thanks for setting us on the cafe side,we had a great time) Food - again schnitzels were a great success, my S&P was great portion, aioli still great (with one rocket leaf - best to leave it out unless it supposed to come as salad?), salmon (unfortunately tomatoish source with chickpeas was not going well together), sticking date pudding was enjoyable. Overall - a great night...

I don't often leave reviews for food but on this occasion I feel I have to. The "roast dinner" as they call it is very peculiar and I would struggle to call it that with a straight face.

Boiled, salted beef that tastes more like gammon is not a good choice for this dish. All I could taste throughout was salt and nothing more, there were no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The accompaniments were confusing, never have I had pumpkin and new potatoes with a roast. There was no gravy either, just a white herb sauce with little flavour. I honestly don't know how they can call this a roast dinner, it is the worst I've ever eaten in my life.

Also service was hit and miss, no water was brought to the table despite repeated requests. This was very much needed after the amount of salt I ingested!

I cannot recommend this place, the only good thing was the calamari starter...

Our sports team headed here for as meal - a mix up with the order meant the meal I ordered was delayed. Has ordered the red curry, which other people had ordered but fortunately heard from them how salty it was so took in the opportunity to swap to roast of the day " silverside with white sauce" - can only say salt must have been in plentiful supply as the white sauce tasted like it had been made with seawater -would be wary of eating here again .
