Black Box Pizza and Icecream — Restaurant in Port Macquarie

Avoid! Ordered online to pick up a Family Vegetarian pizza and a chicken fete pasta on a Tuesday. Pizza and pasta was not hot when I got to my motel room 5 minutes later despite picking it up on the ready time. The pasta was so small it's about half the size of a normal aluminium container. The pasta lacked cheese and there was hardly any chicken in it. The pasta sauce was non existent. For 13.95 it was enough for a small child. The pizza was ordered as a thick crust but if that is think I would hate to see what a thin crust is. The family size pizza would not feed a family. It's smaller than a normal family pizza and much thinner. Topping was OK but lacked flavour. How are people saying this is good pizza when it's so disappointing? The vegetables are soft and bland. And they lack seasoning and spices. Don't beleive the good reviews from others in reviews they are either bought fake reviews of the people have no idea about food food. Will never ever buy from them again. The $5 pizza from the frozen section of the supermarket is much better and they dont compare to a good vegetarian pizza. This pizza was dissapointment of the greatest magnitude. Website asks you to add donuts but you get one for 3.95! and in my case was never added to the order. Black box pizza is good, obviously, who doesn't like a pizza place. I recently hosted a pizza party and black box pizza was my choice. There is a certain replenishing quality to their pizzas. While often I find pizzas can leave something to be desired when it comes to filling one's stomach, Black Box pizzas break the mold in this regard. more often than not, just half a black box pizza is enough to leave me satisfied, where other establishments can leave me hungry even after a whole pizza.

However, let us not forget the pièce de résistance of Black Box pizza's culinary line-up; the desert pizza. there is nothing as absurd and brilliant as an overstuffed desert pizza, a meal so rich, only the boldest of eaters will be able to make it past a single slice. there are few things as entertaining as opening a box containing a desert pizza and watching a room-full of people's mouths simultaneously drop at the sheer madness of what they are witnessing.

Decided to edit my previous 5 star review after my last 2 experiences. Ordered via the app in advance for a 6.15pm pickup. Got there after a walk around town early and let the man serving im here, ordered and paid already. Sat inside waiting while my family stayed on town green. Pizza arrived around 6.25pm which is not a big issue, but a little late since i booked 2+hrs earlier.

The issue is the quality of pizzas have gone downhill rapidly. Used to love these pizzas and was a regular customer, especially when they had deals on cheaper nights.
