The Pepperberry — Restaurant in Port Macquarie

Well we came back for the second day because we loved the food . Today we’re were siting waiting for our food and drink and one of the staffs young girls came out to a costumer, picked up there dog , one hand under chest and the other on its bottom . She stayed for 5 minutes doing this . We went in side to tell the boss , she then came out a few minutes later and went to the costumers with the dog and was whispering about us as her head and eyes looked over to us . This made both of us feel uncomfortable. They need to be taught hygiene as we don’t go to a restaurant to get sick . We love animals but this is not exceptable. We will never come back here. We have friends that live here, we came here for a weekend away from Melbourne and will not hesitate to mention this . If this girl had takin onboard what had happened we would have come back but she came back out a few times and still went to this dog and patted it . A shame for...

Visitor from Sydney Surprised how they treated us today We wanted to have breakfast there today 5/11/2021 The gentleman wanted us to have our masks on while we having breakfast??? We went to The Pepperberry for breakfast on 16 Feb 2023. We chose to have a black tea and a herbal tea and we were sharing the avocado on toast. I ordered and just casually said, oh and we are going to share the avo on toast. Cost $30, I got back to the table and realised it was meant to be $27. We asked why. They charged us $3 for an extra plate (no extra food, just an empty plate) we have never had this happen before, when he told us why he overcharged us, we told him we don't want an extra plate, we are happy to share the plate.
