The menu available on their website is not current so what we had planned to order was no longer on the menu. This was disappointing and I would not have booked to come here based on their current menu if it had been available to see beforehand.

The bread was good and my partner enjoyed his lamb. The risotto was okay. We would have ordered dessert and more drinks but they were not offered to us so eventually we just got up to pay and leave.

Overall the food was okay but the service was bad to non-existent. The one person who came to check on us during our meal asked how are meal was and then left before we could answer? It was odd behaviour.

Another thing to note is the high chair provided was filthy with grime. I wiped it down before giving my baby food and was shocked to see my pure black come off the tray. It took me three wipes and scrubbing to get it clean. I believe this is because they store the high chair on the patio and imagine it’s the air pollution and street dirt but something to keep in mind if you’re using a high chair.

We had many nice dining experiences in Toowoomba but unfortunately this was not one of them with the level of service and attention to detail not...

The oysters, it is worthy to note, are $5/ea. Apparently I'm the only one that didn't automatically assume it's not an all you can eat oyster buffet for $5. Acknowledgment that "oyster buffet" felt strange to write. Not that I don't like oysters, but like conceptually I'm just not on board. Said oysters, whilst juvenile and decidedly NOT plump were great with the wakame and ponzu. 'Market' fish sounds unappealing, almost 'budget'. Also why is it always always always barramundi? I'm not big on barras to start with, neither the fish nor the iconic Ford motor. I say that to highlight how impressed I was by the barramundi 'market' fish. Crisp skin. Sweet flesh. Possibly even more of a highlight than this was the quinoa. I HATE quinoa. However this quinoa had had the tender kiss of sweetness and anaseed from the dates and fennel. This quinoa had flavour my man. One of our party noted the pepper sauce on the steak was remarkably subtle and inoffensive. A few grains of salt with that, as this was the same person that (offensively) referred to the ponzu as "just soy sauce". Sticky date for dessert is always a winner. No exceptions here. PS The napkins...

Just WOW! This has to be the best restaurant in Toowoomba. As soon as we sat down, the wait staff came and took drinks orders for our table of 25. Less than 10 minutes later they took our starters orders.

Their bakers duck sour dough, brie + hot honey was so delicious. It came out fast and gave us time to check over the menu. I had their oysters with fig + champagne mignonette as a starter. The oysters were freshly shucked, on the larger side and plump.

For my mains i had the market fish, (Barramundi) tuscan white bean caponata, saffron + lemon aioli. The table shared some plates of broccolini, spinach, almond butter and potatoes, beef tallow, sour cream, crisp onion.

Every single plate for all 25 guests was perfect. The portion sizes are excellent and the staff know the wine list well.

This place is a must for any occasion.

This venue has an up market menu and the food is delicious. The service isn’t very helpful or friendly and they seemed a little disorganised when the meals for our table arrived. The area where we pay in in an inconvenient spot in the corner nestled behind two tables for two. I felt like I was intruding on a couples romantic dinner just lining up to pay. I ordered the black Angus steak extremely well done with no pink yet it came out extremely pink and for such a small steak it was disappointing to not be able to eat a quarter of it. It was however absolutely delicious. At no time was anyone at our table asked how our meal was or if we were happy with it. Very poor layout and service for a restaurant that serves such an expensive up market menu. If you are planning on a romantic dinner for two, I’d recommend reserving a table away from the payment area.

Came in on a Thursday night, two of us for dinner. We ordered a few starters to share. The tempura oysters & gnocci were incredible, and the drinks were great. The rest of the starters were a bit lacking, the pork belly was served cold, the scallops, while cooked well, lacked a lot of flavour. The brisket was cooked well but very rich and nothing special. The garnish was also the same on each dish and felt lazy and cheap, and didn't add anything to the dish. During the meal and when paying each staff member failed to ask how our meals were, but didn't forget to ask if we wanted more drinks. We were given attention, but not really for the right reasons. For the prices they're charging you're better off visiting Host or Loulaki. Not trying to an annoying customer, just trying to give some constructive feedback.
