Roast meat and potato. It's a simple recipe, there's 100 ways to make it work and while all 100 are not on the menu here, there's enough options to make me want to come back 99 times. The briskit and egg burger is served in a pool of sauce and comes with complimentary translucent, 1/2 ply napkins. I assume they are very eco-friendly. On this visit I had the signature range steak sandwich and it was really quite good despite being unsigned. One small observation - could've used just half a slice more steak. I am familiar with the intricacies of the economy of sliced meats, so I realise this half slice can hurt the bottom line - we're not made of meat, or at least..meat doesn't grow on trees.The potato gems were gem-like and the lady near me who had the pork crackle confirmed (without words) that it was extremely crackly. She had talons for fingernails. I imagine they make many things difficult, including eating things with your hands, she seemed to manage okay though. Read moreNo longer a fan of this place. Used to purchase regularly, but since the change of menu the food has gone from great to absolutely disgusting. Even though we use Uber Eats, the food was always hot and tasty. Our last order made us both physically ill. Cold , tough steak on the burger and a burnt chicken schnitzel on the other burger. Might have been able to overlook this and say it was a one off...but these were replacement items after being given 2 half cooked spuds overloaded with sour cream and missing most other toppings on our previous order. Change of management? Only excuse for the drastic drop in quality. My advice....go elsewhere if you want...
Read moreFIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT! My partner and I decided to have lunch together this morning (29.3.21). We order a small roast roll meal and a small roast meal. The roast roll and chips were prepared and left sit on the bench for 8 minutes while the girl prepared the roast meal. The roll was cold, hard and dry as anything. The roast meal consisted of cold pumpkin, potatoes and meat with just enough gravy to help swallow down the dry pork. I would understand if it was a busy time, but we were the only ones inline for quite some time. Payed $30+ for this disappointing meal. Reading the reviews, clearly speaking to your staff is not...
