A Flavourful Gem in the Heart of Toowoomba
I recently dined at Nahm Thai Toowoomba, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt inviting—modern, warm, and relaxed. Tucked inside Grand Central, the space is surprisingly calm, even during peak times.
We ordered a mix of classic and signature dishes: the Massaman Beef Curry was fall-apart tender and deeply flavorful, while the Crispy Pork Belly had just the right balance of crunch and richness. The Pad Thai—a dish many places get wrong—was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or oily. Every plate was vibrant, generous in portion, and beautifully presented.
Service was another highlight. Despite being quite busy, the staff remained attentive and friendly throughout. Our server happily accommodated a dietary request without fuss, and everything arrived promptly and hot.
The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of food and the portion sizes. It’s the kind of place you can visit casually with friends or for a low-key date night.
If you’re after authentic Thai flavours with a modern twist—and service that makes you feel welcome—Nahm Thai is a must-visit in Toowoomba. I’ll...

When we were placing our order, the female staff suddenly interrupted my friend mid-sentence to focus on her earpiece. She listened for quite a while before turning back to us and asking if we wanted to order anything else. It felt like customer service was the last thing on her mind.
As for the food… some dishes were good. But the Pork ribs that came out late were stone-cold and rock-hard. The noodles were in such broken pieces they barely resembled noodles at all. Really...

We tried a few different dishes. The mixed vegetable chilli curry was a standout. Super tasty and full of flavour.
The massaman curry had a beautiful base and the curry itself was divine. Only downside was the beef didn’t soak up the flavour properly and there was a bit too much star anise which made the aroma a little strong.
The chicken fried rice was unfortunately pretty bland and didn’t really hit the mark.
But the steak. Wow. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Just make sure to eat it while it’s hot.
Would definitely go back for the curry and steak. Great setting for...
