I made my order and when I received it, it was freezing cold, like just out of a cold fridge. I went back to the counter and pointed it to them. It came back and it was the wrong order/burger, not mine. They said we asked what you wanted and this is what you have said. "No, what I said was that I wanted what I ordered and paid for." I was given another and again I had to go back and showed them again, it's not what I ordered and paid for. They reluctantly made a burger for me and again it was a completely different order. I went up again and this rude and disrespectful young man squashed the burger flat and shoved it over back to me, so I followed suit. He shoved it over again. He said we've already made it "1,2,3“ times and we are not making it again. Now leave these premises he said this many times getting louder and louder and with an audience of other customers. I said I'll leave when I receive the burger that I selected and paid for, not before then. He then took the burger and threw it in a bin on their side, ignored me and served people around me for several minutes (which felt a lot longer than that). He then yelled leave. I add in here that I was nice, calm and respectful throughout this whole ordeal, as is my nature. I requested to talk to the manager (because earlier he said that his manager said "NO"). Then he mentioned later that he, himself was the manager. I said no, you're not because earlier you said "abc...". He stormed out and turned to the right where there's was a man, the actual manager and 2 girls. I know this because I followed him. I explained, as I had been saying the whole time "I just want what I paid for". He instructed the man behaving like a 3yr old to give me my burger as requested and paid for. We then lost the time to sit and enjoy our meal. I had 2 bites of my burger (I was a passenger in the car). I turned it over and picked up the lower half of the bun to find out it was soaking wet and smelly. My friend, witnessed the whole thing and flamed over to the saturated half of the bun and I held it up to her and she dry reached. Quote/Unquote “ they've soaked it in filthy water of sorts... and measles to say that this one went in the bin also...
I'll note here, I wasn't going to give a rating. I've never in my life given a negative rating like this. But it called for it as the whole experience was woeful to say the very least‼️
I could go on in more detail but I thing the...
Read moreTo the Owner/Manager,
I’m writing to bring attention to an ongoing concern at your restaurant—something that’s not just a one-time observation but a recurring experience over a significant period of time.
This message reflects the sentiments of many delivery drivers, whether working with Uber Eats, DoorDash, or any other platform. The wait times at your restaurant are consistently long, and unfortunately, there’s often a lack of basic communication or acknowledgment from the staff. For example, today, two other drivers and I have been waiting for almost or over 30 minutes—this isn’t an isolated incident.
What’s most disheartening is the absence of simple courtesies: no one checks in to ask which order we’re here for, gives updates on how long it might take, or even acknowledges that we’re standing there waiting. We’re working hard too, just like your team, and all we’re asking for is mutual respect and better communication.
As delivery partners, we rely heavily on efficiency to maintain our earnings and ratings. Especially on busy days and holidays, when we don’t receive extra pay, the long and unacknowledged waits become even more frustrating.
We sincerely hope you take this feedback into consideration and help foster a more respectful and collaborative environment between restaurant staff and delivery drivers.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Wishing you and your team a Happy Easter.
Sincerely, A Concerned & Unacknwoldged...
Read moreThis Hungry Jacks is terrible, I’m usually not the type to ever make bad reviews as I understand it can be difficult working in Hospitality. But it’s gotten to the point where it’s happened more than 5 times now. It’s very consistent that if you order food from here, you will be waiting at least 20 minutes until you receive it. I even waited in their waiting bay and they forgot I was even there, after 20 minutes I had to park around the front and walk in to receive my meal. And as I can see from the other reviews of this place, I’m not alone in this experience. They really need to make a change if they want to have customers coming back to their store. You’re better off going to McDonald’s or KFC where you will actually receive ‘fast-food’...
