I recently visited Salt & Skin Wellness Shellharbour for their Doubles Japanese Headspa experience, and it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I walked in, the team was warm, polite, and attentive. They took the time to explain each step of the Headspa process clearly, making sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout.

The experience itself was deeply relaxing—gentle massage, aromatic steam, and nourishing treatments all tailored to my needs. They were meticulous about temperature and pressure, constantly checking in to ensure everything was just right. It felt like a truly personalised ritual, not just a service.

Before the Headspa, they conducted a scalp analysis and offered thoughtful advice on how to improve my hair routine and care for my scalp long-term. It wasn’t just pampering—it was educational and empowering.

They had also provided a refreshing beverage and treat after the service which was a nourishing touch to finish the HeadSpa experience.

I have also tried their salt therapy room, and wow—what a serene escape. Reclining in a massage chair under a heated blanket, surrounded by soft music and microscopic salt particles in the air, I could literally feel my body unwind. It’s the kind of deep cleanse and reset you didn’t know you needed until you experience it.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Jackie for a head spa treatment a few weeks ago. When I first entered Salt and Skin it was beautiful, clean and welcoming, I was greeted quickly and was filling out the particulars in no time. Jackie explained the whole process to me, she was just so easy to talk to and made me feel incredibly comfortable from the very start. She made sure that anything big or small was talked through on my questionnaire and offered me some wonderful advice for my migraines. I felt very seen and like we were two gal's chatting away. THE BEST PART - when Jackie came back into the room after I had changed and she flipped her professional switch and just stopped talking and got on with treatment. I mean that in the best way possible, I love a good chat but as soon as the service starts I want to immerse myself in that and mentally be elsewhere. I love that she was so respectful and professional and just allowed me to drift into pure heaven for an hour. The laddies at Shellharbour salt therapy and skin care go above and beyond with all of their services 😍 would not go anywhere else for my skin care needs and not to mention the laddies are a vibe and know exactly what they are talking about. I had the calm and restore facial by Georgie and oh my goodness. This is not just your average facial, it lasted for 45minutes and it was pure relaxation.
