🍽️ Menu Highlights

Nonna’s menu features a delightful array of dishes that showcase the rich flavors of Italy. Start with the slow-cooked Fremantle octopus, served on a bed of chickpea purée with spicy sun-dried tomatoes and kaffir lime oil—a standout dish that perfectly balances textures and flavors.

We recently had the honor of celebrating my best friend’s wedding at this exceptional restaurant, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, infused with the spirit of Sardinia. The decor was a beautiful mix of rustic elegance, with tables adorned in traditional Sardinian style, complete with delicate floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the setting.

The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. The staff ensured that every guest felt special, and their knowledge of Sardinian cuisine added an extra layer of authenticity to the experience. They took great care in explaining each dish, making the meal not just delicious but also educational.

The menu was a true celebration of Sardinian flavors. We started with a variety of antipasti that featured fresh and flavorful ingredients, such as the rich Burrate and perfectly seasoned Carpaccio. The seafood selections were outstanding, especially the Tiger Prawns and Calamari Fritti, which were cooked to perfection.

The Fregola with seafood and bottarga as the Primo was a standout, delivering a burst of flavors that was both unique and comforting. The Porchetta served as the main course was succulent and richly seasoned, a true testament to the chef’s skill and dedication to Sardinian culinary traditions.

To top off the evening, we were served a beautifully crafted Tiramisu, but the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the Mirto liquor. This traditional Sardinian digestif, with its aromatic and slightly bitter notes, was the perfect way to end a perfect day. It brought a sense of closure to the meal, leaving us all with warm memories of a truly magical evening.

If you're looking for an authentic Sardinian dining experience, complete with top-notch service and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and intimate, this restaurant is an absolute must. They made my best friend's wedding day unforgettable, and for that, we are...

Our wedding celebration at Nonna’s Pizzeria &Cucina was nothing short of magical. The restaurant’s ambiance was perfect, with a cozy fireplace that added warmth and intimacy to the evening. The decor, a beautiful blend of rustic Sardinian charm and elegant touches, created a welcoming and romantic setting that made our special day even more memorable.

The service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived until the last guest left. Their attention to detail and genuine care for our experience made us feel incredibly valued and allowed us to relax and enjoy our celebration.

The Sardinian cuisine was the highlight of the evening, offering an authentic taste of the island. We began with a duo of antipasti that set the tone for the meal. The Antipasto Terra, featuring burrate, Carpaccio & Tagliere di affettati misti, was a savory introduction to the flavors of Sardinia. The Antipasto Mare followed, offering a fresh and delicate selection of seafood that was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.

For the main courses, we chose Fregola con Frutti di Mare & Bottarga, a traditional Sardinian pasta dish. The fregola, with its unique texture, paired perfectly with the fresh seafood and the salty, rich bottarga, creating a dish that was both comforting and sophisticated. The Porchetta was another standout, expertly roasted with a crispy, flavorful skin and tender, juicy meat that left everyone at the table raving.

Dessert was the perfect end to the meal, with traditional Sardinian sweets and liqueurs that added a sweet and satisfying conclusion to our celebration.

Overall, Nonna’s Pizzeria & Cucine provided an extraordinary experience for our wedding. The combination of authentic Sardinian food, impeccable service, a cozy fireplace, and beautiful decor made it the perfect venue for our special day. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to begin our married...

Brace yourself for a fabulous night out! Even if we didn't have a booking, the friendly personnel found us a table for two, which was already a great reminder of true Italian hospitality. We had an appetizer (simple Campari's) which came with a bowl off chips. These looked and tasted different than bagged chips - more on that later. Then, we ordered two bruschettas, which are filled with stracciatella (a true delicacy, soft mozzarella-like cheese), cherry tomatoes unevenly split, and parsley oil. The bruschetta bread also had something different, it looked genuine. We then ordered an Inverno pizza and squid ink-tinted pasta with vongole and bottarga, which I knew, was a Sardinian speciality. Now, the pizza that I received was not the Inverno, and when I asked the waiter, they promotely offered to swap it for my original order. Instead, I insisted to keep the Italiana. What a great choice! The pasta was equally delicious. When I asked the owner, Fausto, about their craft he proudly highlighted that he prepares everything from scratch, including chips, bruschettas' thick focaccia and, of course, pizza base and the like. Impressive. I'll have to come back for the Inverno pizza, and many others. We finished dinner with their signature tiramisu. Another highlight was the friendliness of staff and customers. It felt like being in a Southern Italian restaurant. If you don't like warm, cosy, genuine places, this is not for you. That's what you'd expect from a night at your Nonna's!
