The food is actually pretty good if you love noodles and peanut sauce or tomato base or Sichuan based soup. The way this works is you choose the ingredients and you're charged based on the weight ($2.7 per 100g). If you're a big eater like me, the price is going to be up close to $17 to $20. Average price so far for us is between $11 - $13.
Staff wise is a bit touch and go as some are good some are rude as.
Would have given 5 stars if they would only not force charge so much for the elderly as I had my Aunt with me and she's not a big eater but they have a base limit of $8 for adults and some old people just don't eat that much. I guess it could be subjective to the adult. However I'm sticking to my guns about the fact they could be nicer to the elderly and let them eat at a base of $6 minimum at the least. It all gets cooked in the same pot anyway.
Overall experience is a good day. Will definitely go back.
Oh yeah they need to be reminded to at least have the sign of $8 minimum for adults at a better location like the cash register where you make your order would make more sense than in top of the fridge where you are picking your...
Read moreI spent over $65 for two items and was very disappointed with the quality. The first dish we ordered was meant to be a dry mix, but it arrived with water sitting at the bottom. The restaurant offered to remake it, but the second attempt was still soggy and poorly made.
We then ordered a different item (dry mala mix), specifically requesting less spice and less numbing, but it also came out wet instead of dry. After three attempts, none of the dishes were prepared properly.
We kindly asked for a refund, explaining that we had not eaten the food and were unsatisfied after multiple remakes. The staff informed us that because the chefs are different, the flavours vary each time, and that they could not provide a refund unless there was a hair in the food. Instead, they suggested we order yet another item from the menu, which we declined as it would only waste more food.
Please be mindful that this restaurant does not offer refunds if you are unsatisfied with food quality, even after...
Read moreWe noticed at the counter, after we already had our raw ingredients carefully picked in the bowl a small display “NOT Vegan Friendly”… I never saw something like this and asked if they have at least one vegetarian (not vegan) option, but we got a quite non empathetic, straight NO (and a short explanation “every soup base is with pork). I am not a militant vegan and I understand that it is the choice of the restaurant, just would wish this would be clear at first glance, best would be also written here on Google Maps (where we have found the place), so we wasted both their and our time. It is a pity, because else the restaurant looked super nice&clean and the ingredients ultra fresh. We was very sad that we could not...
