The food unfortunately was quite a disappointment. I ordered the chicken cheese avocado, and it tasted awful. Melting the cheese ontop of the chicken and avocado and placing it on the toast, made the toast wet and soggy. Hot avocado (cramped between hot cheese and toast) is really gross. The chicken was so dry, I question if it was fresh. Seemed like it was boiled days before and then reheated in the microwave. On the menu it sounded nice, you would think that with so many ingredients: avocado, chicken, mushroom, cheese, sourdough, it would taste good! It was a combination of bland, soggy and dry. Even adding a bit of salt to the mushrooms would have been better. I suggest try not to put so many items on one thing that the flavours all cancel out. The only thing that was decent was the salad, it would be impossible to go wrong with salad because it is just vegetables. Perhaps you can add the avo and chicken (less dry and bland) and mushrooms (add a pinch of salt when you cook them) into the salad, sprinkle it with cheese, and have the sourdough crisp by itself. My mother also had a breakfast quinoa bowl, and it too wasn't tasty. Some kind of dressing would make it taste better, and salt on the kale. Anyway, service was average. Was ignored a few times when I asked to order and for a serviette, but I did not have high expectations to begin with. Coffee was a bit poor, ordered a mocha, tasted like foam water...

Got take away coffee from here. Staff and coffee were great.

However, I got triggered when placing my order, hence the number of stars given.

I gave the barista my Keep Cup and told him it is a small coffee. He takes a single use take away lid and wrote my order on it. LIKE...WHAT? What was the point of trying to be more sustainable and reducing trash footprint? I'm not sure what happened to the lid after... did it go in the bin after my coffee was made? Or was the writing scrubbed off and the lid placed back in the unused pile?

Here is a suggestion, take the old order receipts and write coffee orders on them when customers provide you with reusable cups. It's a common procedure used by many coffee places, maybe 18 Grams in Westfield should also adopt this? Majority of receipt paper used these days are not recyclable, which is also a single use item, how about giving it a second purpose?

I hope management will take my concern seriously and implement sustainable policies.

Reduce, reuse, recycle please. Thanks...

I have been a regular customer at your café for some time and have always appreciated the quality of both the coffee and service. However, I wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience today, which left me feeling quite disappointed and unwelcome.

I ordered my usual small long black with a dash of oat milk, but I noticed that the barista used cow milk instead. I politely mentioned the error, but the response I received was far from what I’ve come to expect at your establishment. Although I understand mistakes happen, the barista’s attitude in remaking my coffee made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was disheartening, especially given the positive experiences I’ve had in the past.

I have always valued the friendly atmosphere at your café, but today’s experience has left me feeling less inclined to return. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as customer service is a significant part of what has always made your café...

The services was good, we had lunch here yesterday on a Saturday, it was busy but we located a table sat down and it took them only a minute to bring us the menu and also to clean the table. We order a weak cappuccino and a weak latte, the cappuccino was good but my latte was still a bit on the strong side, both came with smsll cookie. My spicy seafood pasta was good but it's not something I'll order again as matter of personal preference. The pasta was nicely cooked and had good portion, It is described cooked special Thai spice saurce, it wasn't overly spicy but it was slightly sweet and I am more of a savoury person. Overall it is good, only wish they had the word 'sweet' next to the spicy Thai sauce so savoury people like me can skip it.

I’ve been coming here for 8 years so I’m very disappointed with todays service. I ordered an omelette with ham, cheese and mushroom. When it came out it just looked like a piece of fried egg sitting on a bed of ham and mushrooms underneath. I asked the waiter who’s very lovely if I could please have it remade with the ham and mushroom diced & the filling folded into the omelette. She mentioned that they don’t cut the mushroom and that was fine, I said don’t include it just dice the ham into smaller pieces. This is how it came back. It’s like the chef just threw chunks of ham inside. I would suggest looking online to see how it should be made and how an omelette is supposed to look, otherwise remove it from the breakfast menu.

Because I know this shop has good coffee, I chose this shop for lunch. One of the dishes was grilled chicken salad. When I ate it, I found that the rocket salad was not fresh at all. Many of them were yellow and spotted and difficult to swallow. I noticed that the waiter was very busy and I didn’t have a chance to explain, so I picked out the inedible rocket salad and put it aside. When I checked out, I asked a young female waitress about it. Unexpectedly, she stared at us blankly and took the money without showing the dishes to the person in charge. I found it strange that such a busy food shop would serve such stale salads? ? ? Quality control??? I was very disappointed.
