Management is very poor, I have witnessed employees being yelled at both over the phone and in person. Food quality has gone down significantly, I am finding many of my purchases lacking toppings. The food at the end of the day is just wasted by throwing it away as i've seen employees putting it in the bin. I have also noticed that the owner does not allow employees to take any food home which seems really unfair to the employees that work hard at that store as the food is just wasted instead of going to a family. When I have been served by the owner i've noticed that I am being pressured to sign up for membership or purchase more after repeatedly declining respectfully. Alongside this the owner leaves the store in the hands of young employees that lack training, with no senior supervisor. Money being very tight I saw it as a win so asked for my loaf that was no problem and the remainder was 80cent I said no worries and got my card out to pay the remainder and the women serving me told me she rather the remainder in cash, I haven’t handled money since covid and told her I only had my card. She kept trying to tell me to buy something else otherwise the purchase isn’t worth it to her for some bank surcharge or something, I told her I only needed the load of bread and I can’t afford anything else. Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the customer care and the owners response as my item was not handed to me by staff after I paid for it and I have walk away without my purchase. Given the epidemic of the virus at the moment it is very stressful just going Out! being aware of social distancing and trying to make an essential trip to the shop as quick as possible. I understand It was my mistake but the staff have not even pick my purchase up from the counter it was originally sitting on to had it to me and I am very disappointed that when I rang with proof of me paying I was told I would not be able to pick it up.
