Amazing meats in a buzzy atmosphere! If you've never been to a churrascaria before, I'll do a basic rundown first, then dive into how Braza compares. 🥩 A churrascaria is a Brazilian steakhouse where meat is served 'rodizio', meaning 'rotated'. That is, huge skewers of meat are roasted in the back, and then waiters walk around and shave off fresh pieces onto your plate. Like many others, Braza has a wide variety of meats available. It's about all-you-can-eat buffet. 🍴Ettiquite: You'll find a little red/green timer on your table. Green means you'd like more food, red means you're taking a pause. Use the tongs at your plate to select a piece of meat as the server is cutting it. Don't be wasteful, only request what you're going to eat. If there's an item you'd like, just ask a server and they'll bring it around when they can. ⏰ Braza has dinner seatings at 5, 7, and 9 and there is a strict 2-hour time limit. Honestly, that's more than enough if you're eating at a steady pace! 🥗 How does Braza compare with others? The meat quality and selection is excellent. Instead of a salad bar like you'll find at many places, Braza serves as many sides as you request. The salad selection is more limited than others and they only give you one cheesy bread 😲. 🍹 The traditional drink is the caipirinha. Go ahead and get the 500ml jug, it's about 3 drinks but only a couple dollars more than a single one. ⛱️ Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered, so you're all good, even if it's raining. ❗ Just a warning about churrascarias in general, it's probably not the place to go for deep conversation. Someone is going to ask you if you want a new meat every couple of minutes. Just be prepared. I found Braza servers weren't terribly attentive to the red indicator. A fantastic dining experience with delish food. I do wish they just included all the sides instead of trying to upsell. I recommend reservations, particularly on weekends and in the summer, as it gets busy! Enjoy! 🇧🇷

Updated my rating to 5. Bring on the flame grilled barbecued meat until you can't eat anymore. At currently $72 you will want to be a carnivore to get the best bang for buck and they'll keep coming around with meat yntil you say stop and even then they might not keep offering more until you pay then run off into the night. When you choose, be sure to get some sides but don't overload on too many carbs or it'll be a quick night. Polenta chips, cheese bread are favourites, take some pickled chili to keep your palate going. A good side combo is some rice, black beans and top with the cassava flour, a very brasilian way of eating (as I was taught anyway). Post covid the cooking was a bit sad, and honestly I refrained from lowering my rating because of that but my most recent outing with my team of 8 has been the best yet, every piece of meat cooked perfectly, a bit of browning but still keeping it just juicy, really could not fault the cooking. Even on chicken which I normally avoid like the plague I didn't mind this time around. Specifically you will want picanha (beef rump cap) which is the poor meat in many countries but to a Brazilian it is considered prime. Beef rump with cheese, grilled haloumi, picanha with garlic, any lamb is particularly excellent choices. I tend to avoid chicken breast and pork ribs because even when they're ok they're not the best meats for bbq this way. Dessert is best through the banana fritter side and the cinnamon dusted grilled pineapple, which is an absolutely addictive finisher, just be sure you're getting a grilled and dusted slice. Vegetarians and pescatarians might have a sad time but its not impossible to join in with the meat eaters for an office lunch, you can do the other menu option and between fish and pasta or paella or whatever the current mains are they usually are quite filling to any vegetarians/pescatarians that have joined us.

I visited Braza Churrascaria in Sydney for dinner tonight and I was blown away by the experience. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ style menu, featuring a wide range of meat selections cooked to perfection on the grill. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable, with a lively buzz that promised a fun and memorable evening. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and they were always on hand to assist with any queries we had. The standout feature of Braza Churrascaria, however, was the food. There were so many delicious options to choose from - slow-roasted beef rump, pork belly, chicken, lamb and more. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were exquisite. The quality of the meat was evident, and I appreciated that all the meat was locally sourced. In addition to the meat, the restaurant offers a variety of sides to accompany your meal. These included salads, rice, beans, fries and more, all of which were delicious and perfectly prepared. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Braza Churrascaria. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were fantastic (Special Thanks for the 2 Gustavos and Wesley) I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience.

We had the buffet experience. Before anyone goes here, I've written a note for each dish served so you don't have to waste your stomach space. Best dishes: Beef ribs- juicy, perfect Port belly- crispy skin, soft, juicy meat Roasted Pineapple- perfect the first time. However when they brought it back again, they just dusted the sugar on top and didn't bother roasting it. Just tasted the sugar and cinnamon on pineapple. Other dishes: Beef flank- tasteless and chewy Chicken sausage- dry and crumbly Garlic beef- taste is good, but chewy and tough Pork leg- dry and chewy Chicken heart- not a personal favourite Lamb leg- dry and tasteless Chicken drumstick- great flavour and juicy Fish- flavourful Sirloin beef- the skin & fat was inedible. Meaty part was soft and tender Lamb rump- horribly dry and chewy, but the fatty pieces tasted so good. It'd be perfect if only this portion was served. Pork ribs- horribly dry meat Garlic bread- can't fault it Weren't served the prawns that were on the menu. Some of the waiter's services were great. But we noticed a couple of them just presented the food like they hated what they were serving.

I went to vivid 15/06/23 with my friend and we had dinner here at Braza and let me tell you… everything from the food to the service and atmosphere of the restaurant was top notch. I don’t understand why the average rating is 4.3 instead of 5. We ordered the flank steak (medium and medium well) which were so flavourful and juicy, as well as the panko prawns and pork belly bites on the side which were just as delicious. For any beer lovers, you’d love this venue because they have Stella Artois, which is unfortunately hard to find around Sydney 😂 aside from the amazing food, our service by Wesley (sorry I’m not sure if I spelt it correctly 😅) DID NOT DISAPPOINT. He made us feel so welcome, he made us laugh and made our experience overall so great, so thank a big thank you to Wesley because he made our evening so pleasant and honestly I’d even go as far to say our dinner was the highlight of our night out. We are 100% coming back and this is the first time I’d ever recommend a restaurant to anyone because it truly was amazing.
