We’ve just finished up with our dinner tonight and I just want to say how appalling I found the experience. I have been a frequent customer for a number of years and have had nothing but good things to say. Unfortunately tonight completely changed my perception of this restaurant. We had to sit for 15 minutes before receiving any kind of service or cheese bread. We then ordered sides which came wrong, when I addressed this I was told they could only bring out a certain amount of items at once, this is something that I have never been told before, as even when we came 2 weeks ago we were able to order as many sides at one time as we pleased. Throughout the night I lost count of food that was passed by us. Servers were offering the tables surrounding us then skipping us. I brought this up to servers multiple times throughout the night, each time somebody would ask me which meat I wanted, to which I would respond “I don’t care what meat comes out I just want something to come”. But still, nothing would be brought out. The meat throughout the night was flavourless, chewy, and undercooked. I was sitting for 10 minutes at a time with an empty plate waiting for something to be brought to my table. It seemed that every time I would say no to something i did not want, I would be waiting for another 10 minutes for something else to come out. The worst part however, was when it got to a point that I actually had to go to the front to say something because the servers were clearly not understanding what I was asking, I told him that we had been skipped many times throughout the night, that the meat was chewy, and that I am having to fill up on sides which is definitely not what I’m paying to come to braza for. The man at the front (bald man), completely disregarded what I had said to him. Responding with “well you’re the only one whose complained about the meat being chewy tonight”. I would definitely not complain if it wasn’t the truth. We received no apology, not even an attempt to rectify the situation by actually bringing out some food, or offering a free drink for compensation. I felt completely ignored. To top it all off, once we went to the front to pay by the end of it, the same man who I’d spoken to, saw us and turned around, having someone else take our payment. Not even a sorry. We are completely understanding of the fact that busy nights can be stressful on staff, but there is no excuse for the disrespect and lack of acknowledgment/compensation. Overall I am incredibly disappointed in the experience I received tonight.

Amazing meats in a buzzy atmosphere! If you've never been to a churrascaria before, I'll do a basic rundown first, then dive into how Braza compares. 🥩 A churrascaria is a Brazilian steakhouse where meat is served 'rodizio', meaning 'rotated'. That is, huge skewers of meat are roasted in the back, and then waiters walk around and shave off fresh pieces onto your plate. Like many others, Braza has a wide variety of meats available. It's about all-you-can-eat buffet. 🍴Ettiquite: You'll find a little red/green timer on your table. Green means you'd like more food, red means you're taking a pause. Use the tongs at your plate to select a piece of meat as the server is cutting it. Don't be wasteful, only request what you're going to eat. If there's an item you'd like, just ask a server and they'll bring it around when they can. ⏰ Braza has dinner seatings at 5, 7, and 9 and there is a strict 2-hour time limit. Honestly, that's more than enough if you're eating at a steady pace! 🥗 How does Braza compare with others? The meat quality and selection is excellent. Instead of a salad bar like you'll find at many places, Braza serves as many sides as you request. The salad selection is more limited than others and they only give you one cheesy bread 😲. 🍹 The traditional drink is the caipirinha. Go ahead and get the 500ml jug, it's about 3 drinks but only a couple dollars more than a single one. ⛱️ Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered, so you're all good, even if it's raining. ❗ Just a warning about churrascarias in general, it's probably not the place to go for deep conversation. Someone is going to ask you if you want a new meat every couple of minutes. Just be prepared. I found Braza servers weren't terribly attentive to the red indicator. A fantastic dining experience with delish food. I do wish they just included all the sides instead of trying to upsell. I recommend reservations, particularly on weekends and in the summer, as it gets busy! Enjoy! 🇧🇷

Updated my rating to 5. Bring on the flame grilled barbecued meat until you can't eat anymore. At currently $72 you will want to be a carnivore to get the best bang for buck and they'll keep coming around with meat yntil you say stop and even then they might not keep offering more until you pay then run off into the night. When you choose, be sure to get some sides but don't overload on too many carbs or it'll be a quick night. Polenta chips, cheese bread are favourites, take some pickled chili to keep your palate going. A good side combo is some rice, black beans and top with the cassava flour, a very brasilian way of eating (as I was taught anyway). Post covid the cooking was a bit sad, and honestly I refrained from lowering my rating because of that but my most recent outing with my team of 8 has been the best yet, every piece of meat cooked perfectly, a bit of browning but still keeping it just juicy, really could not fault the cooking. Even on chicken which I normally avoid like the plague I didn't mind this time around. Specifically you will want picanha (beef rump cap) which is the poor meat in many countries but to a Brazilian it is considered prime. Beef rump with cheese, grilled haloumi, picanha with garlic, any lamb is particularly excellent choices. I tend to avoid chicken breast and pork ribs because even when they're ok they're not the best meats for bbq this way. Dessert is best through the banana fritter side and the cinnamon dusted grilled pineapple, which is an absolutely addictive finisher, just be sure you're getting a grilled and dusted slice. Vegetarians and pescatarians might have a sad time but its not impossible to join in with the meat eaters for an office lunch, you can do the other menu option and between fish and pasta or paella or whatever the current mains are they usually are quite filling to any vegetarians/pescatarians that have joined us.

With much hype behind buffet style Brazilian bbq the ten of us were very excited and expecting a great experience (particularly in light of the reviews and the fact that this was the first time visit for most)..... disappointed and much room for improvement.

15 min wait for the side dishes / food in general to be brought out. I asked for all the sides to be brought out but only saw less than half and had to continually remind to refill or bring out others. They remind you of the fact that it's buffet over the phone but limited /singular portions at a time per table and the wait times in-between are long and the serving size are small, literally barely enough for one person.

all the red meats are super, rare and anything well cooked is scarce in its availability and very chewy. They only shave / give one slice /square of each type you have to continually ask for more and again they only had half of the meats brought out when we asked for everything from the get-go and the ones that come round more often are typically the least popular ones like chicken.

ordered a sauce which was brought out who knows how long after and placed literally at the other end of the table which we on the end that ordered it knew nothing about or even saw it or had the opportunity to respond and say who ordered it they literally placed it on the wrong end of the table without saying anything and all along and thought it was forgotten about.

was told ordering drinks from the qr code wouldn't be placed on the bill but some still ended up in there (maybe a user problem) ordering from the bar is easier but inconvenient when you begin eating.

-the meat is very salty including the salad but still nice the pineapple cinnamon was very nice too, overall it was enjoyed.

the waiters are nice too and they try to accommodate but they're super busy and it's packed.

the disability toilet door lock button didn't work which meant one person had to stay on guard the whole time in two occasions and some of the taps / soap dispensers don't work.

In a nutshell you go through all the effort of planning the outing, traveling an hour on toll roads, paying $42 for parking plus a 10min walk pushing a wheelchair not to mention the many drinks we ordered at the bar it would of been nice not to feel as though your food is measured / limited with the most popular options not even coming round or only once with small portions being placed on your plate and you having to continually...
