Over 600 reviews and highly rated was one of the reasons we came here. We went as a family of 4 two being children. The wait time was around 30 minutes but that is normal for such a busy place. I really like the waitlist system they have put your name down and they will SMS you when the table is ready so you don't have to wait in a queue. The atmosphere is crazy they are so busy OH&S out the door they carry around hot charcoals like bowls of rice literally centimetres from people. I guess they are just used to it now and experts. It is extremely smoky and pretty loud. The service was really good. They have their systems in check so food comes out quick and everyone seems to know the drill. The food was great I don't think I can fault it. Good quality meats. I can't really compare thou because it has been a while since we went to Korean BBQ... Pricess are reasonable for a family of 4 the bill ended up being around 120 dollars and we ate a lot. I am not sure if I would be back it just seems a bit overwhelming and it might be great with a group of friends but probably not for family with young kids.

For authentic, real Korean bbq, the type that real Koreans go to, this is your place! We went on a Sunday night and we still had to queue (around 7:730), and it was busy inside so that was a good sign to start with. The Strathfield branch is the original branch and is designed to look like an industrial warehouse /barn with an open back door (probably to remove all the bbq fumes). There are big hot plates in the middle of each table, it’s a very communal and social way of dining. There is a selection meat types and cuts. The waggu scotch fillet was melt in the mouth, tender AF. Tasty side dishes are refillable which is good, the kimchi is addictive, I’m warning you! We also ordered Korean pancake which was tasty and glass potato noodles which were tasty. If you haven’t been to Korean BBQ before, I warn you not to wear anything that your worried about smelling like bbq afterwards as you will definitely be wearing ‘Korean bbq eau de parfum’ afterwards!

We made a booking. They kept sending reminder emails to me and made three phone calls just before my booking time was near. They definitely do not want to lose any customers 😂 We ordered the set (ordering individual is more expensive) and soup that totalled the bill to $173 - this is without any drinks. The scotch fillet was the best and so was the wagyu ox tongue. The marble as you can see is definitely high grade and it melted in your mouth. You can keep topping up side dishes at no extra cost but each time they gave us lettuce is was only three pieces.. So we had to keep asking for more lettuce they should definitely give a whole basket - saves the staff from walking up and down. Definitely expect to pay high prices here.

Long story short- great food, servers were quick with the orders we made and we appreciated that. However, you’d think that having a louder group in a separate room (the first room on the right when stepping in) wouldn’t be an issue, especially considering it’s a alcohol-permitted KBBQ; that in itself warrants the idea that people will be gathering and having a good time and yes, once inebriated, may be louder than usual. So when my group and I were approached by one of the waiters to “quieten down” we were really confused as we were the only people in that room, removed from the rest of the restaurant customers, save for the group of waiters who stood around near our area. What worsened matters was that, for a lot of the night, I could see from my seat that the waiters were consistently looking at us and seemingly talking about us, to the point where it made others on the table uncomfortable. I’d like to think I, alongside my mates, pride ourselves on our manners and etiquette because we are FAR from the rowdy types, socially aware, and were not excessively drunk. All in all, a first-time experience of feeling like we couldn’t just let loose, which seems contradictory to the intended ambience of a KBBQ place on a Friday night. Probably won’t return as other places I’ve been would have never done this. Perhaps it was just an off-night for the servers, because I truly do not think we were louder than any other group who just wanted to laugh at each other’s jokes and have a wholesome...

very organised in terms of reserving for a table. It is done electronically. one has to encode the number of people, phone number and other details if one is interest to dine at this place. a text message will then be sent on the proposed phone number, the recipient must then confirm or cancel the table reservation.

only one menu per table. would be better to have at least two so it would be easy to choose which food will be ordered based on preference when coming in group..

tables are a bit close to each other.. prefer to have a little more space and easy access to water and other condiments (if it’s possible). the good thing is that this restaurant invested in technology. one press of a button, the staff comes and takes your order.

my only issue is the menu.. I did order two sets of menu.. one raw and the other set was cooked.. I was only thinking it was cooked (second set ordered).. ended up, cooking the 2 sets and my visitors had to wait for at least 20-30 minutes 😅

I wish you have cooked meals aside from the raw meat to grill, so that, hungry customers can start eating while putting the raw meat on the grill to cook. not recommended for those who are starving but best place for those who have plenty of time to catch up and grill some meat together...
