My recent visit to Cafe Finicia left me thoroughly disappointed with the service quality. Despite placing a simple order for two takeaway coffees and a muffin for my toddler, the experience quickly turned sour.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere seemed chaotic, with staff appearing overwhelmed and disorganized. We were assured our order would be ready shortly, but after waiting for half an hour without any sign of our items, I approached the staff for an update. To my surprise, they seemed clueless about our order, offering vague assurances that it was "coming soon" despite the obvious chaos and busyness.

The situation reached its peak when I attempted to inquire about our order from the owner, who seemed solely focused on handling cash transactions. When I finally managed to get his attention, he appeared disinterested and dismissive, brushing off my concerns without addressing the issue at hand.

It was only after half an hour of waiting that I had to directly inform the barista about our order, as it became evident that the owner had forgotten to pass it along. The lack of communication and accountability was evident throughout the ordeal, with no staff member taking initiative to rectify the situation or offer assistance.

In conclusion, my experience at Cafe Finicia was marred by poor service, disorganization, and a disappointing lack of customer care. Dont bother. Asked for the simplest thing on the menu. Toasted sandwich s. There are two choices. Turkey/ ham and cheese or cheese and tomato. Asked for two with the turkey/ ham on turkish bread. Needed to go over the order repeatedly about 4 times when ordering but we got there. Then after that told no more Turkish bread. Really didnt want sourdough option but sometimes cafes run out. Fair enough. That said, they should know how to order stock to make it through a Saturday lunch. After a decent wait out came tomato tosties. How hard is it? 100% not what we ordered. Told the girl. No apologies, no attempt to offer anything. Nothing. Clearly dont care. Coffee was also weak and way to milky despite being a double shot with a good brand of coffee. My friends and I were about to place our orders when the manager rudely approached us, demanding we leave, claiming the seating was for “café customers only” — despite the fact that we were there to eat!
