After visiting Negroni Herbs, we discovered Centro 86, which is also part of the Mucho Group. From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the concept and the overall atmosphere. The music set a great vibe, and the bartenders made the experience even more enjoyable — they were not only skilled, you can see their energy and passion while making the cocktails, but also genuinely warm and welcoming. Of course, their cocktails are not only creative but also exceptionally well-crafted. My favorite was the Morada — full of flavor and beautifully balanced. I highly recommend trying it. What makes Centro 86 stand out is their creative approach: upon arrival, one of the staff presents the menu in a unique way, drawing on it while explaining their seasonal cocktails. It’s an engaging and memorable touch that reflects the bar’s originality. On top of that, the freshly made spiced popcorn served alongside drinks adds an extra layer of hospitality. If you’re in Sydney and love bar hopping, this is a stop you...

I’ve got one word for this place. Absolutely incredible. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with some bad news - we’d booked the wrong day. And by we I mean me. But say less, the FOH (front of house for your non hospo swines), made us feel as welcome as a child to the breast. But the warmth didn’t end there. And here’s where the real review starts. Chris. No words. Chris. Our angel. Sent from above. Heavenly. Deep husky voice. Deep spiritual enigma. Master of the cocktail. But also master of understanding our needs. When I said I wanted a hit of nicotine, he sourced me a vape. Now that’s not regular service. That’s the service I expect Elon gets at the trump inauguration. Karsha and/or Sam was nothing short of delightful. She made me feel seen for the first time in my life. One thing about Centro 86 is this - now that I’ve been touched by that team there, no place will ever touch me the...

This bar is amazing in every aspect. From the moment we got to the front of the line waiting outside our experience began. The security guard (not sure of his name but he was working Friday 21/3 around 11pm) not only treated us with respect and kindness but gave us some great info and advice about the place before heading downstairs. This was already so refreshing compared to the standard experience you often get from security in Sydney. As soon as we walked in downstairs we were made to feel welcome and given a run through of the menu, plus the famous popcorn. The rest is self explanatory and doesn’t need an in depth review but we absolutely loved the whole experience. The service, the vibe, the ambience and the quality of drinks was well worth checking out! Credit to all the staff and congratulations on the well deserved award! This is what going to a bar should...

This place would have been great if the front of house was more attentive and honest. We waited 10 minutes outside to get inside, then were told some tables were being cleaned and combined for our party of 10 people. We were then told to go to the bar to wait while they cleaned up the table and so that they can serve another party (which made sense so we agreed)…then nothing. We asked again and the staff basically said there aren’t any tables just wait here. We saw multiple smaller tables become available which in theory could’ve been joined but we felt we’d been forgotten. The drinks here are good, I had the Spicy, however on the higher end on cost, and back of house was fantastic. The bad service leaves a sour taste. Just be honest. We were happy to wait.
