This is a reply to Ms Shilpa Yadav. My name is Kate and I am the staff you made judgement against in the review. First of all, I acknowledge that sometimes my customer service, or my attitude may become unsatisfactory during my shift. However, please also allow me to clarify some facts that happened recently between you and me. I know sometimes when I get busy, with the only staff working in the store. It is hard to keep my customers services; meet customer demands as well as being efficiency high as usual. But I clearly remember our conversation, I was very patients and I have tried my very best to explain our standards of toppings to you, which I donât mind explaining this again here. The customer you talked about who made the order with my language is a DIFFERENT topping. They ordered black pearls (2 lines) and you guys ordered the popping pearls (1 line). Our company has set different standards for different toppings. If you have any question, please contact Chatime Head office. I believe you were too upset at that time to listen to me. But instead you became very rude to me and refused to leave the counter until I add extra for your toppings. Also, recently you guys still visit our store often, and every time you pick something on me. I know sometimes it could be my bad that I treat customer rudely. Thatâs why I never thought to make comment to explain anything that was put up against me here. I apologise to those customers who had receive bad customer services from me before. But in terms of what happened between us, I obviously feel that I need to speak up for myself. I did nothing wrong with trying to explain the facts which you donât accept. And I personally feel very offensive towards the word "chubby" you and others put against me. Especially by seeing this word emphasised with brackets next to my name. I would strongly suggest you think carefully next time when you are posting any word that makes judgement about someone's body shape in the public media, and how would it affect that person's mental wellbeing.    Read moreI am pleasantly surprised that the employee who served us actually comes up a significant number of times in most of the negative reviews for this branch. Good to hear that my poor experience has been validated. A brief description: Asian female employee with short black hair and glasses.
My sibling ordered a Peaches and Cream Milky tea and we discovered, after it was already made, that the employee had made a mistake with her order and instead made a Cookies and Cream tea. As such, I respectfully asked her if it was possible for it to be remade but I was nothing short of shocked with her response. She was clearly very upset and defensive; apparently, she had already clarified the order with my sibling and that my sibling was the one who was in the wrong. Upon further discussion, the worker's only attempt at clarification was incomprehensible: "Frozen [insert muttered words] blended?", which clearly has no relevance regarding the type or flavour of drink. She was incredibly rude to my sibling and we were both in pure disbelief. I then stepped in and had to resolve the situation because my younger sibling was too bewildered to even respond.
This service was beyond awful. To add, while she was making the tea, she was constantly distracted by her surroundings. She was immediately back to her phone after our order and seemed to always be on it; it was difficult for her to look up from it to take our order the first time.
If I were to even take the customer service out of the picture, that is no way for one human being to speak to someone else. To say it was simply rude is an understatement. I asked for cookies and cream and said at least 4 times in ours conversation and in the end I got Thai milk tea and when I point out she gave me excuse of using double checking with me which I heard she was saying cookies and cream standard sugar, standard size bla bla⊠she was looking at me and was glaring at me throughout our conversation. I only had 4 minutes left for my train that why I have to left in hurry or else I wouldnât have to bear this rude behaviour. I asked this lady how much time you take to make cookies and cream? And she asked me back how longer you can wait? I said 5 minutes and she didnât wait for me to order she just assumed that I would get Thai milk tea which I never asked for. I was talking with my friend in phone so I wasnât hearing what she was saying but I made sure that I ordered correctly cookies and cream regular size no topping which she didnât care and assumed what she thought and made and move to another costumer. When I pointed out she was so rude and looking at me like she would beat me at once if I said anything more which was so rude.
