Sorry for the 3 stars but this place didn’t make my expectations. Even though the place looks empty on a Tuesday night but we still decided to come in to try their foods. The menu describes this restaurant will provide a homey food experience but I think it that statement is overly exaggerated. The food all came out at once but after a while though even though we were the only customer in the shop at that time so I considered it quite slow. I got the butter chicken and daal makhni from their main menus plus 2 naans and 1 garlic naan. I asked for tap water which they said they would bring it out then until the food came still no water to be found. I asked for it once again and they brought out a bottled water (which I didn’t ask for) and I asked them again and now they said they don’t have tap water. Why though?? Why they didn’t say in the beginning... Anyways, the butter chicken looks very unappealingly red while daal was okay. They charge $16.99 for the all chicken curries which I found more expensive compared to other places in the area but the taste just not that good. They got my order wrong instead as I asked for 1 garlic naan and 2 plain while they brought out 2 garlic and 1 plain naan. We didn’t mind so we just ate them without complain because we waited so long for dinner to come out. Sorry but I...
Read moreI'm honestly totally surprised this restaurant only has 3.5 stars. The meal I had tonight was definitely worthy of 5. First time I have ordered here, and my food was so delicious that I felt compelled to write this review. There were no Uber drivers available this evening so I went to pick up. First of all, don't judge a book by it's cover.. I almost did. This restaurant is a very humble, basic looking restaurant, but make no mistake - this is definitely some of the tastiest Indian food you can find. I tried (and would recommend) the Aloo Gobi, Palak Paneer & Garlic Naan. Good portion size and all of it absolutely delicious. Flavorsome, with a BEAUTIFUL combination of FRESH spices you could taste in every mouthful. I was most impressed with how fresh the spices were, making everything so flavor packed. The garlic naan was fresh soft and chewy, made with real fresh garlic, not the dried shake on garlic you often get. If I didn't hear a mans voice out the back, I could have sworn it was grandma in there cooking up her traditional authentic recipes. Maybe it was Grandpa!? If you are looking for tasty, authentic Indian food at a very reasonable price, then this unassuming hidden treasure is well worth the drive from anywhere. Lovely smile and service from the young man who passed...
Read moreAVOID AVOID AVOID....... can not stress this anymore than I am. We ordered a family meal and delivery was on time. However, half the order was missing and the order that arrived was either call or substituted with a similar product. As you can imagine we called to be told they will call back. 8 further calls and 7 hang ups we were told delivery driver can’t come back. So we called just eat to get a refund and they called restraunt and they advised delivered in full. Just eat then asked why items were changed to get I’m not the boss call back in 20. These guys seem to have had friend leave reviews and anyone else is 1 star. Avoid them as liars and poor food with worst service glad did not arrive as seen better in waiting rooms in...
