I was really excited to try some Halal chinese food especially after reading Google reviews about this restaurant.....only to be sorely sorely disappointed. I ordered the Mongolian Sizzling Beef serving size for 2. The food came Sizzling which was brilliant, from there it was all downhill. The serving size was DEFINITELY NOT for 2 (I'm a small person and I was hardly full). The most upsetting part is they have the audacity to charge $18!!!!! Very very pricey for the food we received - mind you the dish BARELY had any beef, which was more salt to the wound. I ended up filling the rest of my tummy up with Al-Baik a short walk away. Will Not be coming and would NOT reccomend either. The silver lining? The bathroom is very clean.

Hi aneesha, thanks for your constructive review. If you are struggling with the purchase we definitely would have been generous if you let us know that. We take care of our community and we don't shy away from helping the needy. You definitely have an invite to our next charity event. Because thats what we restaurants are right? Charity organisations. I'm certainly confused by this review. Do you go out to eat or is it all $5 deals that keep you fed. I'm sure we are from the same generation where we are OK with paying $6 for a coffee but when it comes to "Desi" restaurants, you shouldnt have to pay Australian prices, lets pay Desi prices. You came to a sit down restaurant, and two people are complaining about spending $21. Get a grip and be realistic. Educate yourself on food costs, staff wages and rent and utility costs. You know that clean toilet that you kindly mentioned. It doesn't clean itself. It takes a person who has to be paid in dollars not rupees. Again, I cant stress this enough "be realistic". Cook the same dish at home, count your time and count your ingredients. Calculate that then add your rubbish bill, electricity bill, Gas bill, strata, council fees. Don't even worry about profit.
I cannot believe how unprofessional the OWNERS response is. I LOVE my food. I am a massive foodie and leave tips where DESERVED for me money is not an issue. It becomes an issue when you say the serving size is for 2 but is barely for 1 and you charge me for 2 (does that make sense to you?). There is no need to personally attack me saying that I need your charity (on that note: even if you were giving I would not be taking). I have worked in the hospitality industry as a restaurant manager - there is no need to break down these costs. Just like your food and service - your response is revolting. On your menu it says "we will come to you when you're ready to order" however every single time we needed your attention I had to get up to you. What a joke! Thanks for your prompt reply and thoughts on rudeness.I am myself a working woman.This is a multicultural society.We don't need to degrade anyone.It was a long weekend I wanted to enjoy some quality time with my family.We were 15 minutes late because we came from outside Sydney and couldn't find parking space.Her behavior was hurtful.The food was excellent .That's why we wanted to order more.She didn't tell us that we can't order more later.I didn't throw the money I have paid by card. if you don't want to serve anyone because they are late or any other reason just say no on the first instance .''Sorry u r late!".There is nothing such as rude customer.We addressed her as Apa. Read moreThis place is terrible! We arrived at 8:30 pm and sat down at our reserved table. No waiter came to us until 8:50 and rudely asked us what we want. We ordered fried rice and soup and it arrived at 9:13 and wasn't worth the wait. It was terrible. Fried rice tasted like garbage and soup had hair in it. The chef needs to wear a hairnet other wise I'm going to sue that chef for food poisoning. My friend ended up really sick and couldn't go to work for next few days meaning he lost his weekly payment because of you scoundrels who call your selves "chefs". Garbage chef.
