High quality products High quality service Prices are comparable to most cafes, the difference is that most places will give you for the same money way lower quality products. In this country you would pay 6-7 $ for a croissant that is not even fresh (I ve noticed the habit many have to keep them until they sell them) Here,they will make it fresh in front of you ! Same for the rolls ! They smell great, they look great ! They taste great !

The guy working in the morning is super nice and will welcome you with a smile + move away from register for personally give you your bag of food if you are waiting outside.

I wish there were more cafes like this in Australia...

I work across the road to this gem and they always get it right. I'm a fussy person so this isn't always easy to do but they listen and deliver. Best coffee on William Street and the fact they do half serves of toast is super convenient when going for post-breaky secondsies (Hi, I'm a porker). Also, peanut butter and chocolate frappe makes me want to cry it's so good. Hands down the best PB to Choc ratio in Sydney. The great weight gain of 2017 can be attributed to that frappe. The Detour team provide tasty, freshly prepared food, coffee, and wonderful service. Always generous servings at super reasonable prices. Coffee is excellent, owner a lovely friendly guy, food prepared with fresh ingredients, to order, taste and freshness delivers every time...my only suggestion....wish they were open weekends haha but they deserve the break....
